LAST CHANCE: How to get the LEGEND Title (tips from a first-place finisher)

- Hi! I recently placed-first in a Time-Attack Legends Run for the updated monthly EQ. Since my Legends Run guide from two years ago, there has been numerous changes to the game - autofight, higher healthpools, Falcon buff, etc.. In this video, I've complied a list of strategies and steps into a comprehensive guide. I hope this video will inspire some to attempt their own run, and aid those who want to.
Side-note: It would seem as if my previous video popularized the use of Ghost for the Proven (heroic) difficulty opponents. Based on some testing, Ghost no longer seems to be as useful of a champion in Legend Runs due to the boosted healthpools of Proven defenders. Regardless, I included Ghost in this guide in-case anyone wants to attempt a run using her. At the end of the day, all you need for a run is a champion that does relatively high damage.

If you (or a loved one) want the LEGEND title, this month’s event quest (April 2024) is your last chance to obtain it through the Time Attack event. You must be in the Top 100 times to 100% complete Proven and Conqueror difficulties. With the amount of people trying to get the legends title, it will be very challenging and the times need will be higher than usual. Thanks for making this video, helped a lot for my own legend run. Stuff like using energy refills between fights and enabling skipping dialogue for completed quests are stuff I wouldn't have thought of on my own.
Don't expect to get it at all but figured I might as well give it one last good attempt before it's gone forever.

If running NF in Team Comp wouldnt it be worth starting each chapter with him and ending at start to gain the extra 10% attk 20 vs 10 if he's alive. Thanks for the video I learned a good bit I wasn't aware about when it comes to general syngery and didn't even consider switching my in game options and turning off all chats. Going to try it in a few days now essential are the Boosts? I guess they'd only benefit your time but is there any comparison for context? Feel like it might just change the fight into one where you had to use a m l l l m combo vs m l m combo.
Knocking out Nick Fury takes too much time because you have to do it every time you enter the quest. With boosts, you can increase base attack by up to 50%. Since Legend runs are completely time-based, they are a must have.
1. do you think 5 star ascended r5 Corvus can work?
2. do you think bishop is an option with the synergy where he gets 2 bars of power each fight? I think he will finish the fight in one sp 2 or sp3(with skipping)
5 star Corvus might work but he’s gonna be outdamaged by every other option. Bishop might work but hed be a lot slower because sitting through his special takes longer than hitting the opponents a few times

What was your time?
I just finished my run in 1hr 57min…used ascended rank5/6star hit monkey with the falcon/iw cap/and cull synergy. Should this be good enough??
I can't be too sure since everyone is trying to get the title this month, but this is the fastest time I have seen, so I believe this would get the title.

First could i do it with r3 shang chi or hulkling
Second should i even try it with only the Beginng of susides?
Hulking isn’t a good option tho don’t know about shang but most of his damage come from his sp2 so I don’t think both of them is a good option especially hulking
Hey, can we enter thronebreaker or any higher level EQ before our run? Also, are you on Line app?
Yes, you can enter any difficulty that is not proven or conqueror before your run.
I would also recommend entering a higher level quest to scope out the types of champions you'll encounter.
@@AEInc0 thanks! Is it possible to turn off the dialogue that pops up when entering a new map and on some defenders?
@@ramana3751 Yeah. Homepage --> settings --> "skip dialogue for completed quests". See 3:43 for other settings.

Doea this have to be done as soon as quest comes our or anytime of the duration of EQ trough the month
You must finish before the the specified deadline, so you can start anytime before the deadline.
Which difficulty should we explore ? And how soon should it be done ?? Like within 24 hr ??
Must explore both proven and conqueror. It should be done before the deadline stated in the in-game message.

Should I do rank 5 ascended herc or rank 3 corvus?
R3 Corvus is probably better.
Anyone know if 25 refills enough ? I heard 30+ was good but says 25 should be good here
With the new event quest format, you don't need as many refills as previous Legend Runs.
I have an R3 7* Sunspot and i think he has what it takes to run a solid 2:30:00 or maybe even less
It all depends if a 7* r3 sunspot can kill opponents around the same time as corvus. In my run (ua-cam.com/video/DuOeh4zA4h4/v-deo.htmlsi=k1hL488jE9GhVMyM), my 6* r3 corvus did about 12k mediums (with full boost and recoil tree), so if you sunspot can do something close, then a 2:30 time is possible with sunspot
@@AEInc0 OK, so I got my result from the run, 7th place and with a time of 2hr19min, my fully boosted sunspot was doing around 15k mediums and was critting often due to Nick Fury Black Panther synergy and crit rate stat focus. I also piled points on lesser precision as well as precision in the mastery tree

i dont have 30 % attack boost
While Herc (with the synergy team) should work, it would be safer to have attack boosts active.
Do you think 7* r2 domino would work
If boosted, she'll probably work. Hard to say this for month since it will be extremely competitive.

5 or 6 hours? That time is way too long. My time Unofficial was 2 hours 14 minutes. Did you do the right quest? Proven and conquered?
Yea i did proven and conqueror but i did it on a Motorola g 2023 so this is why took me to 5 or 6 hours because it' s an android but i think i'm gonna be in 60th, 70th or 80th place

Yes this sounds fine. My time was 2:11, so 2:20 is a pretty good time!

You showed that hit monkey first hit doesn’t crit. That’s not true, it’s guaranteed crit as long as they aren’t blocking. He doesn’t crit into block like Corvus. Congrats on legends title
He meant his first light attack doesn’t crit so you can’t intercept him so you have to parry then mlm

@@Dannyrotten_of course there are but you want to finish the fight faster so you will just intercept him with a light attack at the beginning of the match, you can’t intercept him with medium at the beginning of the fight
My argument wasn’t the procedure to getting a legends run. My argument was the “con” of hit money was that first hit doesn’t crit. I’m saying it does crit. Because it does. A medium first hit crits. Whether you’re intercepting, hitting block, parrying, running back and forth doesn’t matter, what matters is the first hit DOES crit. That’s all. Not sure why this was even an argument.
