Nostalgia hitting hard with this. Death Parade should be continued with a second season. It was one of a kind, completely incomparable to other animes/mangas.

I think that it had an ending that was good for a one-season anime, but it also left the door open to a second season. I'd love a second season, but I'm worried it will ruin the first one for me.
One season is enough.... and i wouldnt like a second season without the assistant
I loved the show, it's one of my favourite and it is just an incredible story in general, but I don't think there should be a second season, simply because 'memento mori'. ^‿^

I finished Death Parade yesterday and I must say that this anime made me cry like a baby, so emotional.
i was really hesitant to watch death parade, because the name death parade just kinda sounds intimidating and i didn't know if i wanted to watch something like that. i told myself to watch the first episode, and if i didn't think it was going to be good then i wouldn't watch it.
i watched all of death parade in less than a day.
There are almost no bad anime with their own piano composition
I also watched all the episodes (12?) in a single day
Hey, im late to the party, but if you enjoyed Death Parade you should give shows like Made in Abyss, Mushishi, Shinsekai Yori, Anohana, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso or Koe no Katachi (movie) a try. All of them are masterpieces and similar to Death Parade in one way or another.

I can't describe how much I adore this song. It would be a dream to be an accompanist to an astounding violinist for this song. I'm not very educated in anything put piano but it would be amazing.
Such an amazing anime, just beautiful, didn't expect to have my heart ripped out and stomped on though. Still highly recommend it. Definitely in my top 10.

Maybe because the arrangement is not the same as the true version. Indeed the music is powerfully beautiful but for some people (like me although I didn't dislike) who want to play this song it's not the version they want. Personally, I played this for my exam in piano with a different version because I transcribed the melody in order to play this song in a trio (1 violin, 1 alto and 1 piano) so I required the original version. That's it for me!

ce que tu viens de dire est magnifique et je suis totalement d'accord avec toi (pense à écrire de la poésie). Personnellement j'adore cette mélodie assez mélancolique (et je ne dis pas ça car Death Parade est un de mes animés préférés) et on pourrait l'écouter sans cesse sans pour autant jamais s'en lasser pour de bon.
A chaque fois que je l'écoute elle me fait penser a la fin de l'animé et comme tu le dis elle m'emporte. J'aime ça. Je pense commencer a l'apprendre

my toxic trait is thinking i could play it easily, I do play piano and have covered all the basics but I don't consider myself a "good pianist" but I think I can play this one. even if it take months, hell years I'm going to learn this piece dammit its so good
Might be able to play it but definitely not "easily". I'd consider myself okay and a pretty fast learner when it comes to piano and it's taken me 6 months yet I still haven't completed it fully. It's not as simple as it seems and parts such as 1:37 took a week and 2:52 still working on the coordination and speed. Definitely a fun song tho

Weronika Kruszyńska I started playing piano just over a year ago now and i knew i wanted to play this as well! i began about two months after i started and broke the piece down into sections and learnt it bit by bit. i've only just finished learning how to play all the notes but still need to get an idea for precise tempo, peddling and correcting mistakes and slips. I find it really helps to slow it down to get a feel of positioning your fingers and then speeding up with confidence hence why it took me a year. if you decide to learn this, best of luck, i found the third quarter of the song especially challenging but it was definitely worth it 😊😊😊
Water574 As it was the last year of middle school for me I didn"t really have much time to practise extra songs, because exams, but holidays start in 2 weeks where I live and my goal is to learn this full song and some other during those 2 months. I just really wanted to thank you for your encouragement, maybe I won't lose motivation after knowing that it took you this long haha I'll be able to compare. Tbh.. death parade was jus ok to me at first.. but it slowly grew on me... seeing the progression of decim ascending into his inner humanity.... unfolding his layers in front of chiyuki..
Succumbing to emotion.... and when the ice skating scene came... he had a deep desire to learn more about emotion... and he finally achieved so... and as the progression slowly came to pass... it was then where I really appreciated the anime for what it had become and what it had entailed of decim.. and this song was the cherry on top.
