- Tricks from the Tarbell course in magic. my journey through this series of books is over but i will definitely be performing effects from these books in the future, cant wait to delve into other projects ! This video is a bit longer than others but I feel it deserves the time so please watch and ENJOY !
To my mind this video should be required viewing for aspiring magicians...I mean really. I was fooled several times and found all the effects structured in a truly entertaining fashion.

The art of astonishment set is up there, Card college is a great, Tarbell 👍🏼 MW complete course in Magic, BoBo, 😁
These are really impressive tricks and I'm so far baffled by several of them. As a budding magician, I'm really looking forward to studying this series of books. Is 35 too old to start learning magic as a career? Serious question! Lol

Hey Dan can you direct me to the TBCM vol you learned the effect at 9:00 where you draw a red ball and pull it from the page. I know it’s been 4 years but I’m hoping you might remember. I have all 8 vol. thanks in advance if you can help
@@Orlando_Rdz_2018 it’s from volume 8 under the Chalk talk section ! From what I remember the red ball was my idea it’s easy to draw 😁 have a play about with it, it’s a good one 👍🏼

You're a great performer and magician!I've some Tarbell books too, could you tell me please in which book (or the names) is the first effect with coins, then the effect with rope in minute 5:50, the amazing effect at minute 9:20 and the one at minute 10:10. I'd be very greateful if you can tell me. Thanks a lot!
Thank you ! The fist effect with coins is called Birds of a feather volume 6, Crocheting with your teeth the string effect is volume 7, the one with the ball drawing is paste board blendo volume 8 and the last one is the black art table volume 8

Dan loves the effects I loved the match. Box truck the ball out of sketch pad. Then the tumblr trick then the vanish glass ball and Nescafe bottle. Which I think can be used for other effect like vanish bird lemon and finally everything thing appear inside an orange. Looking forward for more tarbell and other magic books. Did you heard about wonder book by tommy wonder

Tarbell Course I'm sure was great during it time. But those books are close to 100 years old. Most of the material and methods have been improved upon a hundred times since it's publishing. Even a book like Greater Magic which has endless card effects would be considered outdated in comparison to the current card effects published today.

Matthew Loft eBay is the best place ! You could get all 8 for around £180 I think
I recently got the full set on eBay for a great price. All sorts of offers spanning individual volumes, partial or full sets. The good thing is that if you don’t mind the condition or if volumes are the same edition(I.e., match in appearance although the content is the same), you can build your own set for a good price too.
