    So glad you were able to make a decision that is best for you. I work in stores as a sales rep. Merchandising is about 20% of my job. We are probably the same age and when I have several days of building displays, merchandising, and doing relines, I feel it! I couldn’t imagine doing it full-time.

    So get this: my drivers license expired in November and I renewed it in time but the plastic card has yet to arrive because of this endless Canada Post strike. But *of course* Instacart will not accept the paper proof of renewal and so I’ve been locked out of doing deliveries for weeks now and will be for god knows how much longer 🙃 The govt seems to be aware that delayed passports are an issue for people but no one seems to realize delayed licenses might also have consequences. Anyway, I’ll survive but all that to say I’m happy that you don’t find yourself in this weird situation as well currently and are able to pivot back to gig work on short notice. Just another small thing to be grateful for. Really happy to hear you got in to see a doctor - keep an eye on that B12, my aunt had to actually get injections to get hers up!

    I suppose things happen for a reason Chris. There will be something coming along your way that will work out for you. It's good to know about the b12 hopefully early so it prevents irreversible damage.
    And don't worry too much about you know what. I believe in you and I have enough to not have you stressed over it. If you can, good. If not, we skip 'till you can. Kay? Kay! Take care of yourself m'lady ❤

      I learn so much from my friends here, b12 deficiency can cause permanent damage?!?? 👀

    • @Fluffy-Fluffy
      @Fluffy-Fluffy Місяць тому

      @@AFoxyMesssadly yes, after long time deficiency. most damage is at a neurological level. my therapist had it without knowing and cannot work anymore due to her symptoms. But if you're early it can help and reverse symptoms, mostly on muscle levels if I am not wrong. It's also called the silence disease because many docs still say you are fine if your levels are low normal, where in reality damage can already be done. For me it took 7y and a chance test for my absorption abilities to be tested to see I had a deficiency. my bloodlevels were low normal, not even superclose to the minimum. Somehow someone did an additional test on what is called MMA and they found it was elevated ehich meant that while my blood was technically fine, at tissuelevel I wasn't, and that is where it counts. My urologist immediately saod "ofcourse because we took that specific part if small intestine where it is absorbed into your body". Too bad they didn't remember that 7y prior when doing the surgery. I do think some of my leg issues are from that, on nervelevel. I take two injections per week and it seems to help somewhat. Not as much as I hoped but at least I won't deteriorate further.
      So I hope you get that supplement and you notice relief !

    i have chronic pain herniated disc, sciatica, shoulder pain, arthritis it comes and goes and of course it is worse in winter, i use to take tramadol which i preferred, but now i take gabapentin which makes me tired. But doctors are so stingy with pain meds nowdays because of the opiate epidemic, that people who really need it to function and go to work cannot get adequate pain relief, i have had to call in sick because of pain, if i had some codeine or hydrocodone i would have been able to go to work. Okay, maybe you can do a video explaining how the healthcare system works in Canada and are there safety nets in case you cannot work? Maybe a video? Just curious. Our healthcare system isn't the best in terms of we must pay for insurance, but trust me once you have it , you can see an M.D. or specialist, immediately. If one is disabled former president Roosevelt put safeguards into place that people can collect S.S based upon what they have put into the system. Im so curious...... and Im glad God is helping you. . I believe Life happens through us not , to us. Yup the Universe has been knocking at your door and you seem to be listening now! Chris there are different types of B12. Cyncobalamin is synthetic but the cheapest which is likely what you would buy for cost savings. Likely you need methylcobalamin or even adenylhydroxy cobalamin. Along with a rheumatoid factor would likely come the need for another type of B12. I have less common methylation pathways myself. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal antinflammatory and it is very hard on the kidneys. I would try some arnica to see if you respond to it. How does a listener order stuff on amazon for you?
    You are made of tuff stuff or you would not begin to be able to manage what you have. There are limits though having a body....smile.

    • @Fluffy-Fluffy
      @Fluffy-Fluffy Місяць тому

      @@AFoxyMesshave them look at your absorption ability too. You can take all the oral B12 but if your body can't absorb it, it's no use. The body needs to absorb it into your tissues and some conditions can cause this to become compromised, hence having a good bloodlevel but no transport between your blood into your tissues. Ask about injections, you can learn to do them yourself. It may not be necessary but it really can't hurt to ask or get it done again to be sure.

    • @Fluffy-Fluffy
      @Fluffy-Fluffy Місяць тому

      @@AFoxyMessask him if he also did the MMA or absorption test as that can make the difference between supps and injections. If you have an issue with absorption you may need injections because the supplements don't get to be absorped into your body. Also if you take a stomachprotector like omeprazole it could be the cause of the deficiency as the stomach is the first place where b12 is made ready to be metabolized. With Omeprazol and likesorted meds the stomach can't release what is called Intrinsic Factor. Just mention it :)
