I fill up a bucket of really pure clay with an excellent ratio of sand and silt and when I extract the organic material I leave it in the bucket to dry while I don’t put it in a cloth as you will lose a percentage of clay as it moves through the fibers. Also there is another method you can allow he mud to get really dry and no moisture then break it up into small pieces then sieving through a screen as the bigger stuff will not pass through the screen and this way is much faster although it’s not as pure as the wet extract method

Δημητρα Γ. I think you bake it and it becomes solid. And yes I think there will be tiny cracks.
