This comment section hurts my soul. When this song came out, it was perhaps the best time ever. The last time things felt like falling into place. Loved this song, the band was amazing. Me n my gf fell in love with this song and for each other the same time. Now today nor we stand together, neither this band. All that is left is this song and few memories. Good times.

Am I like the only one who has Joe's solo album the obviously flopped? Because he did attempt to branch out once before; alone, but it didn't take. A shame too.
But I still have posters of the Jonas Brothers and Joe up and even pictures from the Jonas Brothers concert I went to. I am hoping he gets a chance to keep doing what he started out doing.

+Nick Corjay I agree, as a massive fan of One Direction, I think this song is kind of like the ones you mentioned, in terms of the lyrics being about love and the softer pop tunes than the usual songs. I really like this one! And you said these are 1D's best songs, although I'll just tell you that they've done over 90 songs and the songs have a vast range from the soft, romantic ones to the really upbeat,fun kind, which have their own charm! But if you prefer the softer ones, listen to Fool's Gold, Through The Dark, They Don't Know About Us and the new album especially! It's filled with treasures like If I Could Fly, A.M. and so on.

This band is way better than I thought.
I am a 19 year old guy. I used to watch Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney Channel. It was cool if you did. I heard this band called the Jonas Brothers. While most of their fans were girls, I was a guy who liked Nick's voice. However, after the song "Year 3000", years later the song "Burnin Up" came out. The singer had an awesome voice. It was Nick's brother Joe. For my tween years, I loved it. When I was 16, I got into music big time and started writing my own songs and singing them. But it baffled me when Jo Bros broke up and all I heard was Nick Jonas (with songs like Chains and Jealous). I liked him, but Joe was still my influence. Today, I looked up Jonas Brothers and saw a song by DNCE called "Cake By The Ocean." Not only was the song familiar, I recognized Joe was in the thumbnail. So I reflect on my life. Thank you Joe. Thank you Disney. I am so happy you're back!

When I first heard "Cake By the Ocean" I thought the singer sounded extremely familiar and wondered if it was Joe Jonas. I fell in love with the song even before I recognized Joe's voice and ever since I've been a fan of DNCE - because of that amazing song and because, well, it's Joe Jonas. I'm really looking forward to their first full album! Would totally buy it even without listening to the other songs because I have 100% faith that DNCE's music won't let me down.
Andreggvil Jammer their album is probably the best one I've heard. Doesn't compare to any other artists.

Ya I also know dat Louis Tomlinson isn't singin with m but if u listen carefully u'll hear a voice like Louis from "ya I want" to "lungs". Especially u'll hear Louis' voice when Joe sings "you are".

Kung sa bisaya pa "Buyag". It's such a nice song. The meaning's so sweet and precious :) I think 2 of the songs in the album are witty and sassy, a bit angsty too, I think? I liked Toothbrush a lot and the most because it's witty but sweet. I'm loving DNCE's music so far.
