I don't understand why this didn't do better, it's a beautiful song with nice progression and the staging was really good too
i believe that girl duets are problematic by default when it comes to ESC. I could furtehr extend this to girl bands as well
There was a lot of problems with the voting
Not only did they give this the wrong code on the screen for voting
But for some songs i voted for i would first get my messege back that they received my vote the day after the show while others (who ended up in top 3 of sms voting) i would get the messege within few minutes.. which could be accidental delay but could also get you to think that some lines were blocked at the time of the voting
Also wierd that this was a favorite the week leading up to the show (which was before people saw the live performances) so seems wierd that it still did not ended up in the top three in app votes in any regions of the country.. also wierd that all regions got the exact same top 3 without any difference.. that wouldnt be suspicious if it was the favorites but when its the big favorite among fans then it seems a bit wierd

But would for sure take this one over the song that ended up winning
Just so much chaos and problems with the app and the voting that it makes you question what else went wrong? Was there anything else that did not went as planned?..
Freedom was the winner of the public voting and shouldve been named the winner but juries killed it and DR got who they wanted..
Also who knows if this one wouldve made the top 3 if DR did not mess with the voting codes and how that would e changed the outcome of the superfinal?
Nonetheless the result should be declared invalid due to all the problems and questions around it..
A new voting is only fair but wont happen tho.
The most chocking tho. Is that the broadcasters dont care.. they said they are sorry about the voting but still praise themself for a great show.. they dont give a #$@! About the contest anymore.. they should hand it over to someone else if any other broadcaster is interested

@@Tobi_Koby the juries wasnt the problem here.. they couldnt even vote for it.. the problem was the voting system.. DR put up a wrong code for this song to vote for
Basically showed the code for song number one at both song 1 and this one as song 2 aswell as the app being down all night might have caused some changes in the top 3.. im sure that freedom wouldve been top 3 as we saw
But a song like lige her with Søren Torpegaard.. if i remember correctly he got high votes from the sms score.. if the app was working that couldve showed there especially with the importance of staging and live vocal in songs like that
And this also was a favorite.. i dont remember if it got high votes from one of the votings.. but the the wrong voting code on the screen after their performance is possible to have something to do with it not doing better than it did..

Det var slet ikke så musikalsk og det kom til at gå galt. Selve afstemingen var ikke til at gennemskue. Og vi mangler mindst et par semi-finaler og rigtige point at se. Jeg fulgte Norsk MGP som sidste år, og jeg tror at ingen her blev skuffet. De har det hele. Rigtig sjove værter og tilfredse publikum også på skærmen.. Og man kan online se alle Norske MGP - fra start til slut. Dem kan vi være stolte af!

This was my favorite DMGP 2023 song, but somehow the live performance didn't live up to my expectations. Despite that fact, It's still a fantastic track and I'll have it on replay all summer long…😊❤

I agree that the lyrics are a bit cringy, but the composition is beautiful, it gives me goosebumps. I wish this had won, I'm not insulting Reiley, but his style of music is just not my cup of tea. I'm happy for him though, and i'm glad the people that voted for him got their wish come true.

hvis erik stuve hansen ikke havde fredet reiley selvom han optrådte med sin sang måneder før dansk melodi grand prix, ville det her helt klart havde vundet dansk melodi grand prix og været i finalen, og vi ville ikke været til grin i lyset af norge sverige og finlands succes!

Honestly... what puts me out is their expression. There is a lot of "anger" and it feels like they are talking to each other like the other is the guy.. that does not really work. Seen way to many times before how too much anger expression and looking away from the camera have a negative effect on the viewer. Before you diss me on this.. Remember Destiny?.. The fan favorite?

Der var i hvert fald noget der ikke helt fungerede... desværre. Jeg havde dem også i min top 3 (inden showet), men jeg nåede jo ikke at stemme artister i finalen, da app'en ikke virkede og lige pludselig var afstemningen slut og jeg kunne squ da ikke lige huske de tre bogstaver til sms-afstemningen, da jeg havde travlt med den skide app...ha ha...
Men Reiley var min vinder, så det endte lykkeligt ;-)

This performance .. sorry you wonder why this didn't win.... it feels sooo weird.... the performance and too much make up put me off and the song doesnt have much of an impact on me after the first time listening to it....I didn't even listen to Reiley's whole song and I already liked it....
