Nice video! Do you think nbd7 or e6 is better after bg5 and why? :)

Thank you :) I think one is not technically superior to the other since they're probably both draws with perfect play for both sides, but... Nbd7 is another good move and probably something I would also be willing to recommend, it is just that I have more experience and expertise in the e6 lines. e6 is more of a 'classical' response and essentially obliges White to attack with f4 since Nbd7 would define the queen knight's location very early on. Though, they often lead to intimately similar positions.
After Nbd7 f4, Black has an interesting try with e5 -> Nf5 -> Qb6 -> Qd2 -> Qxb2, another poisoned pawn type position in a different situation. I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be healthy for Black as well.
But bear in mind, after Nbd7, White's best move (in my opinion) is Qe2 instead of f4 which was recommended by Negi in his repertoire book; it is also a move that can also be played against e6 systems. The idea is to castle queenside quickly, and push for a quick e5 thrust when given the time. You'll also have to study Bc4, as it's the second most commonly played there. And funny enough, against Bc4, the main move again is Qb6. I felt that by recommending only one system with e6 and h6 and Qb6, that it would supply a plethora of ideas that can be applied to other lines such as this Nbd7 stuff like you were asking.

Playing against Nbd7 f4 - www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1625144 Annotator Rogozenco regards this opening plan for Black as being risky, and that Black must play sharp in order to justify letting White get a big lead in development.

PROTIP: Maxime Vachier-Lagrave is the player that you're going to want to study and explore if you're interested in playing the najdorf. He is the king of najdorf. Search his games up on chessgames and study the games carefully! Be sure to look at the comments of those games as well.

It is interesting to note that Nbd7 is a good way to renew playing for an e7 -> e5 push, so it might be good.

Well, I'm 6 years late but better late then never 😅. I play Bg5 against Najdorf myself and I would rather face Nbd7 than e6. When you play Nbd7, white can play Bc4 and can sacrifice it on e6 which is really annoying for black. When black plays e6, black will have time to play Qc7, stopping Bc4.
