kill count 2 pc died 3 escape the doorngeon 1 npc was sent to the shadow realm 2 avatars of death died 1 dopelganger died 5 dopelgangers missed in action 1 efreeti almost dies to 3 crits and the count of the doorngeon RISES
i am begging for this to be put into one of the other dnd campaigns as a special event where the party is told to slay "The Sovreign of the Doorngeon" and its a really old, withered version of the Sovreign (sorry i forgot his name lol)
He finds the actual last door, that previously didnt count as a door for the door question, because it was disguised as a jar. He opens the jar with the doorknob and enters a different plain where he builds a sentient door army with the power of the doorngeon as core power.
8:02 Grace looking at us with dead seriousness and shaking her head was so hilarious to me here. You could see the fear in her eyes of meeting her fate as a gnome.
The odds of this turning out as good as it did are incredibly low. The count drew the Sun, allowing him to 1v4 the rest of the party, he was the only one in the room before that other PC figured out the answer to the door's questions, then drew the card that reversed his alignment, then got THREE CRITS IN A ROW against the efreeti. Just... incredible.
I love how Count tomorn liconhal just goes full Gollum at the end there, but with a doorknob that casts knock once a day instead of something actually useful like an invisibility ring or something.
That was one the funniest sessions of D&D I’ve ever seen! I couldn’t believe how much they messed around with the DoMT! You could tell they didn’t care about these random characters they rolled up/ had picked for them, but that just added to the hilarity. The Count’s descent into madness was absolutely golden!
If possible, please consider doing another Doornegeon. It was great, and very funny, to see the live polling. And how everyone was pleading their case on how people could vote.
That was the greatest UA-cam video I have ever seen. Genuinely, the Arcane Arcade crew is so talented! Sovereign Tom of the Doorngeon was so cool holy crap!
This got out of hand so fast, this is fucking awesome lol please please bring back this dungeon it is serious campaign like just sneak it in like there’s this dungeon with a mad rouge in it lol
It has been unleashed. The sinister master workings of the cabal known as: "The Chat". This unholy creation, held in the purgatory of the mind of the sacred oracle known to those as, "The DM". With his guiding vision, and the revelation entrusted into capable hands, the world will tremble at the feat of marvelous cruelty that is... The Doorngeon.
In the years that followed, many an adventurer sought the well that was told led to the Doorngeon. Spurred on by tales of treasure still hidden... but to no avail. Anyone who attempted to enter via the well-gate, were frustrated by failure. Soon tales became legend. Legend, to myth. Yet some still say, when the Sun is low, and the wind is just right, you can on occasion still hear maniacal laughter in the area surrounding the well, as if rising from the earth itself.
It would be nice for Count Tom to be put in legend and some npcs if all of their games(d&d or not) tell the couscous tale, of Count Tom, Ruler of the Doormain of the Doorngeon
The doorgon, a great flying beast that starts its life hatching from a 1,000,000 year old Elder Yggdrassil Tree. Then elder artisan doormaker dwarves carve the rough and new hatchling into the proper shape and dimensions most suited for its particular type of wood. the wings are ornate folding doors reminiscent of Japanese changing walls, but look like the Minecraft spruce doors.
my Pathfinder party features a lizardfolk, a catfolk, and a shoony (dogfolk). We also have a goblin and a masochistic aasimar but we’re majority anthro animals. (I’m the lizardfolk druid, Q’nene)
Without even watching a single second of the video, just the name reminds me of an adventure one of my dm friends ran last year called dungeon lands. The entire thing pretty much used rolled tables. The entire "dungeon" was rooms and corridors connected by doors, and all the doors were randomized, all the encounters were randomized, the location of the dungeons inside the dungeon are all randomized, the location of towns are all randomized, loot tables are all randomized, the actual towns themselves were also randomized. There were these pools of water that would mutate you inside the dungeon, also all random. The only thing not randomized were the dungeons and the biomes.
this gave me an idea for a great session the players are given a Deck of Many Things, but it is cursed. every day that passes while they still possess it, the entire party suffers damage. in order to get rid of it, they have to draw EVERY. SINGLE. CARD. from the deck. only once they have, the entire deck will turn to ash and all effects the deck had are reset. in other words, the curse on the deck is playing a game with them in hopes of killing each and every one. to survive is to best the deck, to pull every card and accept the fate of the consequences they bring. this Deck of Many Curses is neutral evil.
Just at the start, but imagine if they started the game normally, but midway through the group come up through the well into the Dore Hell without warning.
Amazing dungeon, amazing turn of events! (minor spoiler below) But, tiny side note, everyone in the stream was going nuts saying the three nat 20s was a 1/8000 chance. That's not exactly true, all three of those rolls were made at Advantage, so it was "only" 3 nat 20s out of 6. It wasn't 1/8000, which is rolling 3 for 3. (still very impressive though!)
the moaning secret door had such a good payoff
I say, without the slightest hint of sarcasm or exaggeration, that this is the greatest session of Dungeons and Dragons ever recorded.
True, how the fuck did this become so serious.
110% agree on this. Everything about it lined up so perfectly, which is surprising for what was supposed to be a mostly off-the-cuff one-shot.
this is true dnd
Twitch knows how to make a dungeon!
Dont ya mean Doorngeons & Drawergons
The idea of the chat deciding characters through polls is a cool concept
oh no
Yeah but in complete honesty it did get kinda ruined when everyone kept voting the same thing. It was funny at first but it kinda got old.
@@melit. I completely agree
kill count
2 pc died
3 escape the doorngeon
1 npc was sent to the shadow realm
2 avatars of death died
1 dopelganger died
5 dopelgangers missed in action
1 efreeti almost dies to 3 crits
and the count of the doorngeon RISES
Jacob: make a wisdom save
Tyler: 13
Jacob: *tiny laugh*
Tyler: *even tinier* oh no
The only true d&d experience. That and hating doors, of course
Time stamp? 🙂
Oh gnome
I can't fucking believe it, this was supposed to be a fun little dungeon about doors and it turned into a fucking Shakesperian tragicomedy
i am begging for this to be put into one of the other dnd campaigns as a special event where the party is told to slay "The Sovreign of the Doorngeon" and its a really old, withered version of the Sovreign (sorry i forgot his name lol)
it should've been the half-orc bard and his band of barbarian gnomes
Ah yes, the gnomads(and tyler)
It would only be funnier if you had to enter the Doorngeon through a window. xD
Even better if it was a door
@@ThenFaceMe Even better if it was a doorknob opened by pulling a door
Man that is sone terry pratchet type entrance right there
Windoor
Holy shit, he actually used the Doorngeon.
Can't wait for the BBEG of the next campaign to be Count Tamorn Linconhal!
He finds the actual last door, that previously didnt count as a door for the door question, because it was disguised as a jar. He opens the jar with the doorknob and enters a different plain where he builds a sentient door army with the power of the doorngeon as core power.
@@MisterLimeLemon i have never wanted anything more in my life than that right there.

I just want to say that I appreciate everyone in chat who tried to make Grunkle the Funkle and his troupe of gnomes from one of Jacob’s videos…
Now I wish that had been the case
Any chance you know which video?
@@demonzabrak it is in D&D players be like
@@Astrall270 thanks
fucking LOVED the end of this. took a chaotic and hilarious twist ending.
I was about to go to bed and this just popped up. Sleep can wait, tonight we delve into the Doorngeon.
Stream Starts: 3:46

Vox Machina would be traumatized by this dungeon.
Count Tom and the efreeti are the next two bbeg’s for an Arcane Arcade campaign
If possible, please consider doing another Doornegeon. It was great, and very funny, to see the live polling. And how everyone was pleading their case on how people could vote.
also one that can have multiple floors and doesn't suddenly end while there are doors with nothing behind them
That was the greatest UA-cam video I have ever seen. Genuinely, the Arcane Arcade crew is so talented! Sovereign Tom of the Doorngeon was so cool holy crap!
This was amazing. I thought it was just going to be a meme dungeon, but it was so much more
Ohmygod that card room was amazing. I am wheezing!
Spoilers:
Long live The Count!! I am so tempted to run this and make him the villain of it hahahah!
do it
holy crap, the final secret door got me in tears x'D
Feels bad for Vod squad on this one, this was such a sight to behold live!
Being a part of the vote was an absolute blast.
My life’s work is complete
Fight me.
i loved it so much i started the Craig for half orc
I was only here for the last half, and I still had the time of my life.
If these guys were to become a band, they should call themselves *The Doors*
"Now performing for you live on stage: *Break & Entry*!!!"
There is already a band called the Doors
@@bable6314 That's the joke...
"I'm the Doorngeon Count. I can do anything."

just watched the dungeon build earlier today, then saw this had already happened.
that was an impressive/fun one-shot.
Count was epic in this.
The ending was Chefs kiss
It has been unleashed.

This was the most entertaining one shot I've ever seen. Thank you for this masterpiece.
The Count absolutely killed it at the end. The whole cast and crew are A+.
I'm so glad this finally happened!
I never thought such a meme -dungeon- DOORNGEON would have such a cinematic ending. Holy shit.

I genuinely had to give a standing ovation for that ending.
The only way it could possibly have gone.
Bravo.
Their should be a Doorgeon 2! You dont have to play it but it would be fantastic of it was built so other can run it.
It would be nice for Count Tom to be put in legend and some npcs if all of their games(d&d or not) tell the couscous tale, of Count Tom, Ruler of the Doormain of the Doorngeon
Can't wait until chat makes a meme dungeon again
When are we making more tho

This turned into a horror movie
This is the first video of acutal D&D or even TTRPG's I have ever seen, and I now think nothing will ever hold up to it's legend.
Same here
Doorngeon, Episode 1: "Oops, All Gnomes"
Me realizing that this stream was a lil bit interactive: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I would love a movie of this
Now that it has been run, I may rest. My work for many moons has been completed.
I will never ever let the chat decide my character.
Jack's "Magic Mouth" joke is why he is my favorite.
The party reminds me of my Pathfinder party, 3 catfolk and my half-orc.

Eeeeeeeeenter the Doorngeon!
I can't imagine the fun that could be had with a group of friends like this, I love watching these videos.
This episode should be called Five Quarter-lings & a Half-Orc
You guys should totally do a dungeon crawl classics campaign. It would be glorious.
this session alone is better than the entirety of Critical Role lmao
three times rolled nat20's in a row
he is a ♂boss♂of♂this♂doorngeon♂
This was better than I ever thought it could be

That opening music is definitely way to epic 🚪
It's called Arrival from Edgar Hopp
This entire thing needs to be a D&D story time video on the main channel! XD
Grace! Gnome-asso had us in stitches! This video is the best!
The doorngeon now needs to be expanded by its dark overlord.
Next, we need the wheelngeon
If they do this again, they should remove a voting option once its been selected once
Many a hero have met their end at the hinges of the doorngeon. And yet many more will seek it. The tragic irony.
All that chat taught me today is that they latch on to the may may well after it stops being funny.
Count Tumorn Lincolnhol
Doorman, of the Doormain, of the Doorngeon. 😮
He turned into gollem

They’re not even adventurers, they’re just a fucking band!
Well if anything is an inspiration to try starting animating, this is it
Plus side of everyone being a Criminal: They get their backstories out of the way quickly ("So what are you in for?" * Number of Criminal Players)

This is the best ending to a dungeon ever.
What a climactic finale. Truly great showing out here XD
This was fun, loved the randomness
I was very much expecting one of the bard criminals to say he/she would play the Mayonnaise. Because that is a fucking crime.
36:41 Searching for other gnome bard criminals in your area...
🎶 Welcome to the Doorngeon , we got plenty gnomes 🎶
For a meme dungeon this was GREAT!

i loved everything about this
Count tom becomes the new bbeg doormammu Lord of the doorngeon

they should do a campaign where the chat can donate to give players advantage or disadvantage and maybe even choose encounters
