I used to love having a bet on the dogs but not any longer they just don't run to form you will see a strong finisher in the lead and it will almost come to a stop time after time this happens I must of seen 100,000s of races started going dog racing in the early 60s so I know what I am looking at.
Im no expert on horse racing ! but have enjoyed days out at the derby , Flat racing . (Im afraid I find jump racing ,like in their , major races , dangerous for both horse and jockey ! and don t like it ! As for flat horse racing , I don t know if theres so much use of drugs etc . Its easier for the owner ( who picks up the bills / places the bets ) to tell the trainer , to advise the jockey , to give the horse a easy race ! ( what he really means is don t get the HORSE in the first 5 , this results in the handicaper , thinking the horse is of a lower standard ,and then it is dropped 2 or 3 grades in future races , , and of course he roars home at a big price ,then , but the trainer if he does nt advice his jockey to do this the owners will remove their horses and go to a trainer who will ! its a catch 22 situation ! This I must say is just the thoughts of a humble punter , I have no actual proof or experiance of this !
Valoid!? That sounds familiar.... It's Cyclizine, a potent travel sickness pill . Have taken it myself, but ONE tablet. These poor dogs have three?? Shocking. It used to sold over the counter as Marzine. It was causing problems in humans, so became prescription only.
If they are that worried at the races about dopping surly they'd have a drug test system so dogs have to be drug tested to enter, simple awnser simple to put in place yeah it would cost a bit more but dopping is risking the whole thing so surly if they cared this step would have been taken this would eliminate any dopped dogs getting in.
All greyhounds , are tested , before races , at major tracks , run by the british greyhound association , and they also pay for a registered vet , to check every dogs health , fitness before / after races ! . The problem is in life , where theres money , there are people , who will cheat ,look at stock markets , / insider trading etc , for example . There are ways to get around testing , for drugs , a vet said to me once , he tested a dog , and found enough alchol in his system , to put it over the legal limit if it was human to fail the drink /driving laws . Its not the sport , its shady characters ,who do these things . Greyhounds , make fabulous / house partners , family pets .and I have had 4 retired greyhounds , which gave us so much ,love / happiness / joy , to me and our large family / friends .
I think the first mistake is to consider this a sport. It is not. The dogs do not choose to race, they are forced one way or another. If people make a profit, you know the consequences. SHAME on them and DOUBLE shame on those who patronize the races.
It should be all about the dogs, this industry is insanely cruel and should be stamped out around the World. Take your blinkers off and take a good look
But sitting back and doing nothing is as bad as committing the act of cruelty. Blinkers off, take positive action to stop it. It does work if everyone who knows the insane cruelty works together.
The penalties for their crimes are pathetic and a waste of time in most cases.
That is why they keep re - offending.

Greyhounds haven't got any little, ugly, crooks, sitting on the back of them so they always find a way to fix anything.

The GBD are on the payroll of the trainers just like the jockey club in horse racing.

Moron, obviously you are involved. or just another troll???
Without racing then greyhounds don't get born at all.
Greyhound racing should be banned bags racing at least 10% a day are fixed bookies take your bets are poor value and back it back on the exchange
You have no clue about it
@@nioclasbreathnach3784 no clue about what? I been involved in greyhounds for 17 years what is there to know?
Is bags racing just another name for Grading racing????
It’s you that should be banned
You look at results most days ,its simple not many favs maybe 3 out of 12 ,nearly every day ,nothing done bookies love it .
Time to wind it up and get real jobs.
💯👍
No one would put a 20k dog with him no dog in his kennel worth more than a grand
Declining to comment is just another sign of guilt.
They are guilty by their silence what have they got to hide ?
The prize money is a lucky bag 😂

Gwen Ferry you can not change the fact that some people are cruel and bad
