I have big plans for this channel in the future and welcome any suggestions as to what content people would like to see in the future? If you have any particularly special memories you've had in nature I'd love to hear them in the comment section (I read them all).

Hi Jack, your research is very good. I am geology student from India. I want to take admission in PhD in UK. Hence, what's I do? and what is procedure for admission in your university in PhD. Any scholarship for international students. Hope you will reply. Thank you Jack.
I am from India I wanted to become a geologist and I love travelling very much which subjects i read in class 12th and which category of geology i take where I got best travelling opportunity
I'm a Geology student from Pakistan. In my point of view, you should do your 12th in mathematics. Although if you have biology or DAE diploma you can get admission in Geology field. But mathematics is best for geology because it is a engineering field...
Hey Jack! Insanely interesting video, and your editing/voicing skills are great! I'm an aspiring Geology major with an interest in Computer Science, and I was wondering whether you have some insight on if the two fields intersect and benefit each other?
Hi Michael, I'm really glad to hear you found my video interesting!! I would say there are lots of ways in which geology and computer science overlap, especially as time moves on. Have a look into seismic work, and in general a lot of geophysics topics require a lot of computer skills. There a lots of other topics too which they can both cross over, where do your interests in geology lie?
@@JackRichNature Whoa! That was a quick reply! I'm all for keeping an open mind - but the environmental/Hydrology aspect is what mostly attracts me. Though I definitely see myself gravitating towards whatever might mix those two subjects together.
@@michaelfogel7275 I thought about taking a Masters in hydrogeology before my PhD, there is a great one at the Uni of Birmingham! Hydro is very maths orientated, there is a lot to work out and I have often seen computer modelling used to try and constrain how aquifers and pollutants (LNAPLs and DNAPLs) are interacting.

Hi, Xgarakutax thanks, I'm really glad you like them! my best advice would be to try and discover what aspect of geology you like the most. Hey bro I am doing my bachelor's in geology from India .and I wanna too become geologist so can you just me any feild of geology which involves lot of travelling cause I am passionate of both geology and travelling.
Hi Kundan, many areas of working in geology can involve travelling. Mining exploration can take you to lots of places. Working as an academic can often take you to very interesting areas, I have a friend who was studying the metamorphic history of the Himalayas. Volcanology can often lead to visiting very exciting areas, one of my collegues spent time with the Geological Survey of America up in the Cascade Range. There is also seismology, this can take you to some interesting seismically active areas, ie, New Zealand, Japan etc. Or on cruises around the world's oceans. Then of course there is Palaeontology and dinosaur digs...
I am also from India and I have a interest like you i wanted to travel because it's everything for me so what can i do after 10th to become geologist only for travelling
