Her performance was carefully measured out to show the audience every stage of the her condition and and the relentless progress of the disease. Only later I realized that and I could not stop thinking about it. That is called sublime acting.
i watched this for the first time recently and had to go back and rewatch not long after. absolutely mesmerising. the final scene is heartbreaking and beautiful.
Hmm. Now that I'm paying attention to it more, Simon really is sort of a surrogate impatient listener/viewer, chiming in with confusion and impatience at times when someone who doesn't know what Mark is talking about would feel the same. It's a pretty effective dynamic, because I do love hearing Mark go off on tangents, but I also do understand that he needs to stay on task...

I'd watch a film of Julianne Moore watching paint dry, she's great.
Which format would you prefer? 35mm, 70mm, or 15/70 Imax
She has a hint of the ginger predator about her (sans mask).
Richard Glatzer The Director of the movie died 4 days after this review. what a shame to loose such a great director

She was even better in Maps to the Stars.
The film’s well acted, well written, well directed, well characterised, stylish & is an emotionally crafted drama film. (80%) (4/5 stars) (positive)
Very sad that the director Richard Glatzer died 4 days after this video.
oh yeah, I almost forgot that Kermode enjoyed Twilight, and Kirsten Steward's wooden performance in it.
+Tangential_Tangine have you watched Cloud of Sils Maria and Camp X Ray?
whenever you say 'do you remember, do you know', the answer's always no

Appropriate given the subject of the film.
