Andy Charles not only do they feel special,know all the kids probably luv coming to class,an I bet there probably passing in his class to as well.... teachers like him have a very strong impact on kids, regardless if they make it very interesting for you to want to learn or if they very Stern teachers that won't Stussy you strive to do better when you coming at don't you would never forget them I'm in my forties and my sixth grade teacher Miss rice I would never forget her, i Realize when I became a young adult she wanted all her students she taught to be the best they could be as a child an especially as an adult, she was a teacher that really cared, and the same that goes for this teacher he shows a lot of interest in his kids and when they become an adult they will always remember him so I give him👍👍's up, and continuing to teach and keeping the kids Happy

Yeah, the message to the kids is, "this is how much you mean to me...each and everyone of you in your special way." IF a kid feels that their teacher is there for them, they will be more likely to perform for that teacher. Their worth is confirmed.

Incredible! I'm inspired by the creativity! This is also such a brilliant way to immediately have a student feel valued and be happier to be in class! You can see their faces change from standing in line to entering the classroom smiling with more energy. Building relationships with students results in higher motivation and participation... imagine how custom handshakes are facilitating learning in that classroom?! You know they are willing to work harder for this teacher because they know he cares about them! Amazing!
My sixth grade teacher used to do that he still is one of my most favorite teachers.
