- in 2009, Cliff Richard and The Shadows moved into a remote location near Killarney in Ireland, to rehearse for their up-coming orldwide "Final" Reunion Tour, and they spent two weeks perfecting their act.
The rest is history, but here are some of the "behind the scenes" shots from those two weeks of rehearsal.
Cliff's smile @0:07😍 "yea, go run your bath" - that perfect comedic timing always on point. As beguiling as he's always been... Brian hilariously taking the piss, goading him on. And the magic coming from those classic guitars played by the best there was and is. Wish I was at that show in 2009 but being "backstage" is amazing. I loved this

I saw cliff n the shadows in SA Durban. It was a memorable moment I'll never forget. Being a cliff n the shadows fan from 1958 my dream became true.

It was cliff n the shadows who were pace setters n drendsetters in rock n roll music n their style of music. Especially 3 guitars n drums n cliff on vocal they took the whole world by storm.

I met Cliff and the Shadows in Dublin the 1st night after Killarney they were staying in the same hotel as us they were wonderful I had waited since I was 16 to meet them and it was worth the wait.

The songs The Shadows have written has never been truly recognised ...... another couple of good years they would have easily ranked alongside Lennon and McCartney - Bacharach and David they were ahead of their time ....Thank you Boys

Hank and Cliff were my heroes in my youth. I learned to play guitar through Hank and became a Fender fan, and these recordings bring back many, many memories. It was one of the best times of my youth.

It happiness and exerciseness.
I don't want to hear just the hits when I go to a show my teenage heroes. They have aged with me. I want to hear their poetry and music that reflects the decades of ups and downs. I want to hear the interesting stuff that they like most rather than the hits they can regurgitate. I don't like nostalgia. I'm unusual.
