    I'm currently listening to her audiobook entitled, 'She's Not There'. Ms. Boylan is truly inspirational and I'm excited about learning more about her and her journey. Ms. Boylan, thank you for being You!

    I read "She's Not There" in the summer of 2017, about a year after I began my own transition. In that book, Jenny tells the story of her drive to Cape Breton Island, and of standing on the edge of that cliff. Hearing her relate it in her own voice tonight has me close to tears.

    Jenny articulates the journey not just as a life of being transgender, but as a journey of life for us all. Well done.

    I'm currently reading her memoir Stuck In The Middle With You, about her experience in raising her two sons and maintaining her marriage throughout her transition. Her words have captivated me, and her stage presence is unbelieveable.

    That story reminds me of a time when I got on my motorcycle about 30 years ago I left my home in Pennsylvania for the Adirondacks. I had a tent, camping gear, a 12 year old bottle of Scotch, and the collected works of Washington Irving. I was never so scared in my life.

    Oh damn that was a beautiful story, and she tells it so well with the ability to really get you to imagine and see the story in your own mind. Maybe because I'm a trans woman as well, or really more importantly I guess maybe because I'm a trans person as well her story of her live was very moving to me, and beautiful. And I felt that it had an over arching message that anyone could relate to and understand. I'm not going to lie it made me tear up in a good and happy way and that felt awesome, and it felt good to have such an emotion invoked in me. Thank you for you story Jenny

    Hi that voice you talked of that's God. He watches over His property, especially the valuble ones, Apparently He has something for you to do, the first is to start a relationship with Him, because He loves you more than you can imagine. He's been in my life for about 50 years, I started transitioning 2 years ago.I was praying take these desires away,He said praise Him for them. A month later He said embrace it and transition.I questioned it,it went against my Christian upbringing, but the relief like a breath of fresh air. Now I see,I see the hurting, rejected,missunderstood, and unloved, preecious ones to God. He has put me among them to show them His love for them, to lead them to a relationship with Him. Then like me when the world is beating me down and things are a mess all around, they too can climb into His lap,and He will wrap His arms around me and I have peace, contentment, and rest.Thats what God does for those who are His. Give your life to Him and that's what He can do for you. Keep your eyes on Him because those who say they are His don't always reflect Him. Tiffany

    • @kristinb8268
      @kristinb8268 8 років тому +12

      What about exactly is self-abuse? And who are you to also stand in the way of some one else's happiness in life. Look honestly she could care less if you accept her as a woman or that you think she is crazy\delusional because much of the world and the US do see her as a woman and treat her as such. I know for me as a trans woman I have had to deal with misogyny way more than I have transphobia or bigotry towards me being trans like I thought I would. And I live in a very conservative part of Florida. I'm the happiest and must fulfilled I've ever been in my entire life, and my Mom and I have never been closer and we have definitely reached that Mother daughter relationship,
      which is not just a relationship I always wanted with her, but it's also one that she's always wanted as well and thought she would never get after having 3 boys. Little did she know that one of them was born intersex with transsexualsim and was born with a female brain basically in a perfectly healthy male body, but that's being born intersex none the less and that's the conclusion that more and more doctors and researchers are coming to. Down below is an excerpt from Dr.Milton Diamond who has been studying everything gender, intersex, and transsexual since 1950. He also brought to light the truth of the John\Joan experiment. Down below is a link to the entire paper.
      “Actually from my own clinical experiences, my own experimental research, and from the findings of others I conclude that transsexuality is a form of intersexuality…. I believe that transsexuals are intersexed in their brains as others are or might be more obviously so in their gonads, genitals, hormonal character, receptors, enzymatic or chromosomal constitution. And it is this brain intersexuality that biases the person to assert his or her gender identity.”

      +Kentucky Fathers
      Hi Hon. The real self abuse is trying to please others at the cost of being true to yourself and honest with your maker. The real self abuse is thinking that all the beatings and bullying and abuse you endure for no reason is your own fault and not that of a society that is sick with lies and hate and superstitions. The self abuse my dear, is taking the rudeness of people who are proud of the ignorance, bold in their unquestioning devotion to fear and self righteousness.
      These people do everything they can to live a quiet and normal a life as is humanly possible. But you would never know that because you are overflowing with assumptions.
      So in honoring truth we stop abusing ourselves, and more important let people like you know that we will not brook your abuse either. Good day.
