I flew down to Tennessee to shoot the 2023 Asana climbing catalog and all of the awesome new pads (link above)! I met up with my good friend Brandon Belcher and a few of his friends for a weekend of southern sandstone bouldering. I got to meet up with some old friends as well, John Gass and Paul aka wookie to see some of the new stuff that they had been developing. Though the weekend was quite warm, I was happy to climb a few awesome boulders and saw some lines that have surely peaked my interest for next season!
I hope you enjoy the video!
Climbs in the video:
Unknown, V8
Hand on the Axe, V8
Lord of the Dance, V11
Hitman, V10
Southern Slang, V11
This edits as hot as the temps 🔥
🤣🤣
Came for the climbing, stayed for one of the best rap verses of all time.
Right!? Top 10 for sure
Sick sends, classic tunes, and WOW the colors!!! The SE is beautiful. Kick ass video!!
hahaha get out of my head!! Thought exact same words: Sick sends and tunes! haha
Insane rock down there! Keen to see more of Paul's adventures there.
Heading back when it’s cold for sure!
good vid, good climbing. Good to see some sub double digits thrown in there for us mere mortals :)
Banger! love from Atlanta
Atlanta
Damn this song nostalgia
Right!? I had it on while I was down there and it got me hyped to have it in my edit😊
How do you get to use these songs without getting copy right claims?
@@Sebloe i do get a copyright claim but I am still allowed to use the song as long as I don’t monetize the video. I am fine with that to give the viewer a better experience than the same climbing with horrid copyright free music.
yet another great vid! Lord of the Dance looks awesome!
A phenomenal one!
Sick vid. Where is Unknown located? Dayton?
I assume Brass Knuckles is on your list for next time? I feel like you'd destroy that one when it's colder! Maybe not in 80 degrees though lol. I'm interested to hear what others you're interested in, too? Sick Paul 💪
Yes!!! It was awesome to see the holds on it when I was down there. It was wet but it got me even more excited to try it.
For colder temps next trip, I really want to try: brass knuckles, rust, wookie charms, as well as a few projects I saw while down there, especially the low left start to hit man. That will be a phenomenal v14 or harder. I’m sure there are a lot more but those are the first that come to mind.
Man, suck creek is beautiful.
Damn I miss Chatt
So good there!
How did rust go?
Tried it on my first night. It’s sick! Need much colder weather!
