- An epic start took us from 8th to 2nd coming out of the first corner.

Sorry that heavy punt took you out of the race. Really nice how you get the most out of the car, steering out of the corner with the throttle with a bit of opposite lock, great to watch. Good lines too of course!

oof - quite the punt. Nice launch though, really got the jump on everyone! Almost eked past the bimmer too but damn was he quick!

It was an awesome start, if he hadn't gone a bit leery there he might have been able to stay ahead. That BMW was fast though. The Mustang and the Mazda are very different to drive and even the driver's position is different. Alex seems to be ok with it though and has done races in each back to back.

Indeed... 😤 Everything is fixable, the problem with the Mazda is scarcity of parts but we are hoping to make it to the next race in a few weeks...
That was such a shame Alex! That RX7 really goes doesn't it? I did come over after the race to see what happened, but you'd understandably gone off somewhere, probably to have words with someone I imagine!
Not that it's much consolation to you - none at all, in fact - but the subsequent SC period to clear your car really worked in my favour and allowed me to go on & win the Future Classics race outright. Just a shame it had to be under those circumstances.

Hey Paul, Yeah I saw you won the FCs outright! Great work sir. As for us - we're flat out to try and make Thruxton. Fingers crossed. Oh and I've re-reminded Hugo to put us in class A although the provisional Donington entries have come out with us in C! I'm trying for you!
