It looks nice, but i must admit i was disappointed it does not use a power adapter and electricity via the tracks. We were looking at this for a present for our son, but i am doubting now.
I agree. I believe that electric was a safety issue. I can tell you that the bluetooth works great. Especially with the controller, but if you loose the controller any smart device will work.
Still like the coach design after all these years. Although it's been retired, but this set still looks good rather than the latest train coach design which is ugly with those rounded cockpit on the 60336
