I believe sycamore is cousin to cypress therefore it has the quick response and clarity of a flamenco guitar and a bit of sweetness. Gorgeous Uke for sure!
A bit more dense. Tonally something like a good mahogany and maple mix. Mahalo!

Ken Franklin makes wonderful ukes; classy, loud, tone full; checks all the boxes- but too pricey for me. I’m frugal (cheap). Even better guitars .! I’ve played many of them.
