Why will u hate on someone trying to advertise good products. To be Honest with you I've been watching almost all his video throughout last year and all the stuff he promoted are actually well deserved companies. Like he said one time in his videos he only advertises products he thinks are worthy and that he can get behind on.
M Moore the next video is going to be about some big brand jacket names . He first needs to make a video that needs sponsorship(im not bashing him or anything, thats how it works). And its cool, sadly almost everything he wears is super expensive haha
you don’t have to follow a promotion anyways; I don’t but I used Tiege Henley, works well currently. But besides that, just remember the types of coats he mentions. And if it works well then get it if you like it. For an affordable jacket go to like a Burlington, works well
For me, I typically go with Denim. They were literally invented for rugged use and cold weather. There's also a lot of variety when it come to them. I have a few Sherpa wool jackets for the winter, and a wool blanked lined one for the fall. For Spring and Summer I got a few black and blue denim that I can dress up or down depending how I feel. Denim is one of the best options for almost any weather!
In my opinion puffer vest are far better than jackets. The Jacket over lays, and cant be layered versus the vest which can be used to compliment shits, shoes, jean etc.
This video is on point. I'm late watching this because I'm barely buying new things. Having a wardrobe is about utility and style. I have always struggled to get the most versatile pieces of clothes. Being able to switch up, and look good, is fundamental for every new thing getting in my wardrobe. The purpose was always to keep it as small as possible so I can move quick.
Who else is randomly addicted now to collecting jackets?- I love how they all have such a deep history; bikers, sailors, military, pilot styles ect. So cool.
I learned that I definitely nailed my style choices because of this video. These 3 jackets are the only jackets I have on my wardrobe right now. I feel like i am stylistically gifted lol.
After buying a ton of jackets and wasting money following various styles like harringtons, field jackets etc etc, i have come to the conclusion that the 3 you have recommended are actually the only 3 you need. The peacoat is interchangeable with a nice wool long coat. This video speaks tons about your maturity and knowledge in this game. If i were to add a 4th, i would add a denim jacket.
A few years ago I came across a Michael Kors pea coat at Macy's that was originally something like $120 It was marked down to like $70 on clearance I brought it up to the register and it was like $10 I was shocked and asked her to double check she did and said it was supposed to be sent back because it was like three years out of season. I have had it for about 4 years now I get it dry cleaned after every winter and it still holds up like new and looks new since I dry clean it. I got the $120 quality for a $10 price tag lol
Yes, in areas with snow and cold climates, puffy is best to keep you warm outside, but when talking about style, personally I don't like it, but in a harsh climate is kinda trick to have a good matching outfit, my tip is to buy plain, discret, sober colors for puffy jackets if one need to.
Puffer jackets are AWESOME! NO Idea why people are hating in the comments. They are pure function (light weight, wind breaking and warm) while looking cool depending on your general outfit. You could either put one on and look like you're going hiking with your grandma, or switch it up and look like an international DJ ploughing through groupies. Or you can look like a well off executive that needs to keep warm while looking sharp.
I don't know how people came up with idea that puffer jackets look like sausages, that's not the vibe I'm getting. With the thick ones you would resemble the Michelin Man so it's best to go with the lightweight ones if you don't wanna look like that.
This works for women, too. I have 3 different designs of peacoats, 1 vegan leather jacket, and 1 puffer coat from The North Face. They are completely versatile in my wardrobe, with my classic navy peacoat getting the most use.
Columbia Ascender in black. By far my favorite light jacket. Clean looking, highly versatile and even water resistant. It can't really be dressed up but can go from athletic to casual and still look good and actually function. Probably not as warm as a puffer but looks way better
puberty2 Wait, do you actually wear a duster? No offense, it’s actually pretty cool but I have literally never seen anyone wear a duster. Maybe it’s because I live in Michigan.
I compliment my black full length pea coat with a black cashmere scarf folded roughly halfway and lengthwise. Once around your neck lay one side across the chest and lay the other side across it (allow the length fold to loosen and expose the layers) this gives a nice effect of layers when you put on and button the coat.
A nice wool topcoat that’s just above knee length is my personal favorite winter jacket. Works same style as a pea coat but looks a little more sleek and classy. Below the knee or too baggy though, it’s really easy to look like a dork in one.
I recently bought a faux-leather jacket on Amazon for $59. Totally worth it! Also, yes to the pea-coat and leather jacket, no to the puffer. The puffer jacket, sorry to say, looks like a tightened garbage bag.
I have all 3 . 2 great leather jackets. Lots of light puffer jackets . When it's colder I wear a down vest over them . But I love my black pea coat. I wear it with a black watch cap . Jeans and black Chelsea boots . So cool . Just like James Bond. Lol
IMO the top 5 jackets a man should own; a leather jacket, bomber jacket, A denim jacket (with or without the Sherpa lining), A peacoat or Top coat, and a Parka with a fur (real or faux) lining.
i love the fact that so many people hate the puffer jackets lol guess what, it's not for everybody...there's only some that look good with such a jacket on...alphas.
you know the only jacket any guy needs is a biker leather jacket, and the only shirt any guy needs is a black t-shirt, and the only pants any guy needs are light wash, lightly distressed diesel jeans, and the only shoes, black Chelsea boots. you know first hand, that that outfit works for every situation, and you always stand out as the best dressed in every occasion as well. 1 outfit is all it takes! that is pretty much the only thing I have learned from your channel, but it was useful to learn non the less. can't wait till your next leather jacket vid. cheers.
I think Arron should do a style recap video. We are going to 2018, and it would seem like he has gone to through many changes like he says in style. I think it would compliment this video very well. Starting off at 2000- 2018, how fashion has changed, and large moments that have influenced mens' style.
I gotta tell you. I love this kinda of old school video. Very good job sir. About the jackets, instead of the leather jacket, that is more spring/fall, I would suggest a beautiful Field Jacket, keeping that kinda of military vibe, or the Badassness as you said ;)
The 3/4 length fitted top coat in my opinion is a must have the three you mentioned will not go well with a suit. The top coat works with jean and t's it works with anything
The duffle coat alpha. Gentleman's Gazette gives you a good history of it. For comfort I'll stick with the Duffle (check Jos A Banks,Schott,Burberry,or Gloverall). BTW if you are on a budget Pea coats and Duffle coats can be found on military surplus sites !
I have a levi's dark blue denim sherpa lined one and it always keeps toasty and warm during winter and autumn. Gotta love my denim, plus i live in the UK so winters can only go to -5 (depending on where u live).
Picked up a Canada Goose jacked for just 6€ the other day at a thrift shop. You can really find good quality jackets at places like that. Just a tip for you guys!!

For me a great Pea Coat means when i walk by heads turn, and trust me, heads do turn. It just says, damn that guy i fly :D
In my opinion the greatest winter coat is a good parka, I bought my canada goose parka a few years ago and not only is it still in flawless condition but it protects you from the cold like an angel looking out for you. might I add that it's extremely stylish and can go with just about anything. Now I understand a quality parka can be very expensive but you don't necessarily have to buy from Canada Goose, north face, penfield and many other brands make quality parkas as well so just do your research on pricing and the materials used such as down filling etc. to make sure you're making a good purchase.
People are saying they are bad because they look weird. I don't really see it as a problem though and I'll wear a puffer and not complain. Going to a date in one isn't fine but going out on a cold day to do routine tasks can't go wrong.
I live in Edmonton Canada,. Leather jacket is for the summer and the next two are f or spring/fall, The best winter jacket is the black Canada Goose Parka.
Bomber jacket shouldve been on the list i just bought one a week ago and it keeps me extremely warm and i get compliments on it everywhere i go and its a trendy jacket right now
Puffer jacket a must for cold weather. Weight wise warmest jacket Leather jacket from casual to dress always looks good. Get authentic leather, will last you forever. Naval peacoat, timeless classic. Make sure its authentic Navy issue jacket. It will be just as warm as puffer jacket. Only drawback is that is very heavy.
I liked that newer bubble coat at the start compared to the older ones with much wider segments that just bulged out horribly. I will actually consider bubble coats again. Thanks!
Another reason is because puffer doesn't really fit with style, it's more about keeping warmth. I would wear a puffer jacket to everyday places I go to when it's cold but not to impress someone.
I know it's winter time, so it's appropriate to talk about winter jackets, but what about lite jackets for fall and soon to be spring. I live in Arizona, so a windbreaker can be worn throughout most of our winters. My windbreaker of choice is the Harrington jacket aka the Baracuta G9. It has been worn by many iconic actors in many movies, such as, James Dean, Elvis Presley, and Steve McQueen. I agree, the leather jacket and peacoat are both great choices. The puffer coat is hit or miss for me!
Gentlemen the Peacoats i got recently is from Burlington Coat Factory it's also name brand and very stylish ny Kenneth Cole it comes with an inner turtle neck zipper for about $70
Hi there! Not sure if you will respond but I'll give it a try. Amongst the 3 jackets, I really loved your leather jacket and want to know where I can find it. What's the brand name etc. Any link to that leather jacket would be really appreciated. I live in Paris. But wouldn't kind ordering it internationally.... Thank you!
Leather jacket will always be #1 for me. It's all in the material as well. Some can be worn in much warmer weather while some hides are meant for colder climates.
I agree, but I think a good denim jacket is a must! Pea Coats look incredible, but I'd love a decent leather jacket... Maybe one day I'll make the investment!
No sponsorship. Just wanted to say how much I like these videos that don't have them. And also ones that are actually about style.
xyoda006x you have to just deal with it, why wouldnt someone not want to make more money!
well youtube income aint enough obviously, he's not doing sponsorships for shits and giggles genius
its his choice to sponsor or not in vid. all we r getting is good content. see that
dont get so personal
I don't mind them
Why will u hate on someone trying to advertise good products. To be Honest with you I've been watching almost all his video throughout last year and all the stuff he promoted are actually well deserved companies. wow, a video without a promotion, what happened
M Moore the next video is going to be about some big brand jacket names . He first needs to make a video that needs sponsorship(im not bashing him or anything, thats how it works). And its cool, sadly almost everything he wears is super expensive haha
I like promotions, but not when they're crap watches or other cheap products.
KINGDANNI 1:40 notice the jamp cut I think it was originally sponsored but the sponsored didn't approved.
you don’t have to follow a promotion anyways; I don’t but I used Tiege Henley, works well currently. But besides that, just remember the types of coats he mentions. And if it works well then get it if you like it. For an affordable jacket go to like a Burlington, works well
😳🤯
This "ONLY 3" should become a series honestly. It would give me as well as others the essentials to mix and match great outfits.
She tell me, "take off your jacket", I tell her MANS NOT HOT
NEVAA HOT
Whatevs.
For me, I typically go with Denim. They were literally invented for rugged use and cold weather. There's also a lot of variety when it come to them. Puffer jackets are not bad, but they’re just a little tacky to me personally. It’s rare I see a puffy jacket and think it looks cool.
Yeah. They are most functional than anything. Don't use them to look stylish.
Louis Anthony agreed
i 100% agree with this. Its not stylish or flattering on a grown man in any way. Its definitely a more feminine or childish looking jacket
In my opinion puffer vest are far better than jackets. The Jacket over lays, and cant be layered versus the vest which can be used to compliment shits, shoes, jean etc.
Rene Rosas I can’t imagine an outfit without complimenting my shits
A bomber jacket
Hank Han like the joggers. He wore them but not as often as the other options. Properly because they're not very suitable for his age
that's my favorite thing to wear in Japan.
Hank Han i know bro
The Harrington jacket is similar and I think the collar just looks better. Steve McQueen would wear one all the time.
Bomber jacket is a Fall and Spring outerwear unless you want to wear super puffed, heavyweight Wool or Cashmere bomber jacket.
I fucking love that leather jacket
Dark Trainer Z me 2 where is it from does someone have a link
Dark Trainer Z description
anyone got a link for that jacket?
Vali Mihaila he got it from allsaint
Dark Trainer Z BLACK LEATHER RULES!

Honestly my favorite part of your channel is that every now and then you throw in a non sponsored video. It really shows you care
Fantastic choices!! That first Patagonia jacket is an essential. The Pea cost is an essential and the leather jacket is a must have. Good job.
I can surely agree with that. I don't know why people are being so bashful on the puffer jackets because they're really comfy and warm.
I learned that I definitely nailed my style choices because of this video. These 3 jackets are the only jackets I have on my wardrobe right now. I feel like i am stylistically gifted lol.

I think puffy jackets are a no in style field, the only person who can use it and look good is marty mcfly.
Victor C cracked me up!
Mr Duke Silver Correct, but the effect in the torso area outfit is kinda the same.
"Hello Mcfly, hello Mcfly it's 2018 no on wears puffy jackets anymore"
Yes, in areas with snow and cold climates, puffy is best to keep you warm outside, but when talking about style, personally I don't like it, but in a harsh climate is kinda trick to have a good matching outfit, my tip is to buy plain, discret, sober colors for puffy jackets if one need to.
Mcfly wore a down jacket, todays puffer is different. Not as "puffy". No down.
I rubbed Tiege Hanley on my turtle, now he’s a Blastoise 😂
Arya Forohar 😂😂😂😂 awsum 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👌
sahil anthony lmao the sarcasm

Tiege Hanley actually works. It’s a great product and it’s perfect for my skin.
Knock, knock.
- Whose there?
- Tiege.
- Tiege what?
- Tiege Hanley, buy me.
- Ok. Here, take my money and make me manly.
Deividas Melnikas Shtaufer d
Tiege Hanley makes you manly
*don't tease*
No sponsor holy moly
Kokus Nuss WTF
No free jackets...
Yeah, when he put on the puffer jacket we could clearly see the logo on the jacket so he didn't have to sponsor it. I'm glad he made that decision.
@@prestonsvideos6133 Patagonia doesnt do adversiting IIRC
My Alpha!! Finally a video without a shitty product placement. You have regained my trust and respect.
This works for women, too. I have 3 different designs of peacoats, 1 vegan leather jacket, and 1 puffer coat from The North Face. They are completely versatile in my wardrobe, with my classic navy peacoat getting the most use.
Is the vegan coat affordable?
Columbia Ascender in black. By far my favorite light jacket. Clean looking, highly versatile and even water resistant. It can't really be dressed up but can go from athletic to casual and still look good and actually function. Probably not as warm as a puffer but looks way better
Puffer jacket
Denim jacket
Top coat
Duster coat
Leather jacket
Vintage jackets
Parka
Bomber jacket (for younger people)
+tetsuo any one can wear a bomber jacket, not just young people
puberty2 Wait, do you actually wear a duster? No offense, it’s actually pretty cool but I have literally never seen anyone wear a duster. Maybe it’s because I live in Michigan.
Harrington
I compliment my black full length pea coat with a black cashmere scarf folded roughly halfway and lengthwise. The denim jacket is a style that you didn't mention in the video I think would be in thaf list depending on the most versatile shade of denim
For mild winters or the between seasons, Harrington jackets with tartan linings are my new favorite.
Thank you alpha m for helping me become a better man everyday!
A nice wool topcoat that’s just above knee length is my personal favorite winter jacket. Works same style as a pea coat but looks a little more sleek and classy. Below the knee or too baggy though, it’s really easy to look like a dork in one.

Also, yes to the pea-coat and leather jacket, no to the puffer. The puffer jacket, sorry to say, looks like a tightened garbage bag.
Literally my three main jackets. Couldn't agree more - but for me a raincoat and soft-shell (for sports) are essential as well
I have all 3 . 2 great leather jackets. Lots of light puffer jackets . When it's colder I wear a down vest over them . But I love my black pea coat. I wear it with a black watch cap . Jeans and black Chelsea boots . So cool . Just like James Bond. Lol
Dev9172 Leather jackets fit best for man. Love em
Love the way Alpha keeps this video without sponsorship! You should do it every once in a while!!
IMO the top 5 jackets a man should own; a leather jacket, bomber jacket, A denim jacket (with or without the Sherpa lining), A peacoat or Top coat, and a Parka with a fur (real or faux) lining.
I would personally replace the quilted jacket with an overcoat. Also a duffel coat is a great alternative to the peacoat
i love the fact that so many people hate the puffer jackets lol guess what, it's not for everybody...there's only some that look good with such a jacket on...alphas.
Prodr1978 truth.
Alpha males look cool with everything except gargabe bag puffer jacket
All those jackets look sexy on me
you know the only jacket any guy needs is a biker leather jacket, and the only shirt any guy needs is a black t-shirt, and the only pants any guy needs are light wash, lightly distressed diesel jeans, and the only shoes, black Chelsea boots.

cheers.
I prefer over-coat over pea-coat
What is the main difference?
He wears peacoat cause he's too short for overcoat I think
Overcoats are long and peacoats are medium
i think he means top coat instead of overcoat. top coats can be great for short men if sized properly
rky everything is a topcoat these days, short and lightweight
Patent (shiny) shoes with casual jeans (or anything any jeans for that matter is a no go)! Matt or suede everytime!

Tommy Tom YES???
not for the winter lol depending where you live

Where can I buy that same leather jacket? 😍
im in love with this as well , did u find it?
My personal choices would be:
Black Leather
Brown Leather (Dark or Light)
Denim (though not for freezing colds)
idk y ppl say puffer jackets r bad, I love them and they look great.
People are saying they are bad because they look weird. I don't really see it as a problem though and I'll wear a puffer and not complain. Going to a date in one isn't fine but going out on a cold day to do routine tasks can't go wrong.
I disagree whit the sizing down of winter jackets. The main issue is obviously layering under the jacket (because in winter you have to do that)
Nice bomber jacket.
I live in Edmonton Canada,. Leather jacket is for the summer and the next two are f or spring/fall,
The best winter jacket is the black Canada Goose Parka.
I hate puffy jackets
Same...they just look gaudy and it makes a man look under prepared in his wardrobe. I think a coat should always compliment a man's outfit.
Bomber jacket shouldve been on the list i just bought one a week ago and it keeps me extremely warm and i get compliments on it everywhere i go and its a trendy jacket right now
Like your videos a lot. Your style is normally pretty crispy bro.. but.. puffer jacket???
Puffer jacket a must for cold weather. Weight wise warmest jacket
Leather jacket from casual to dress always looks good. Get authentic leather, will last you forever.
Naval peacoat, timeless classic. Make sure its authentic Navy issue jacket. It will be just as warm as puffer jacket. Only drawback is that is very heavy.
Puffer jackets looks like a garbage bag with sleeves
Robert CR you know what else looks garbage? That grammar
I have that same Patagonia but in orange. Good jacket to take backpacking in the winter.
why is he wearing a trash bag on the first one
Dude, puffy jackets are the most lovable snow sport jackets ever.
Everyone in the PNW has a puffer.
It isn't the most stylish but it is comfy.
I liked that newer bubble coat at the start compared to the older ones with much wider segments that just bulged out horribly.
I will actually consider bubble coats again. Thanks!
-5 is cold? lol
I think he's using Fahrenheit, not Celsius
When in North Dakota, the scale will say -5 and the real feel will be -25 because of the wind. You need layers on layers
Even in Fahrenheit, -5 is not that cold for North Dakota.
It was actually -46 with wind-chill here in ND a week ago .
TheArtofInternet wow that's crazy
What leather jacket are you wearing in this video? It would look good layered over a grey hoodie
Now here is a guy that is totally in love with himself. Lucky him
Could you make a video talking about winter clothing? But like cold winter (-20C or ~0F and below)
I don't know why all these guys are saying the puffer looks bad, I've always thought they're a great essential too
Austin Miller it’s because of the puffer he was wearing in this video. It’s a really tacky black one with logos, not a classic black puffer
Another reason is because puffer doesn't really fit with style, it's more about keeping warmth. I would wear a puffer jacket to everyday places I go to when it's cold but not to impress someone.
@@prestonsvideos6133 You obviously won't go on a date with it. But it's a great jacket for casual times

You walk in the club with a puffer jacket on people are gonna know your for real.😎😁👍
Mr Tony Yeah it's also good to walk into a river. People are gonna think your a boat.
Really
Mr Tony *you're
Xonical *you're

Aaron a good quality bomber jacket or even a denim jacket is way better than any puffer jacket i have ever seen in my life!
Love you choice man.❤💯
Thank you!

I’m a huge varsity jacket fan
I love Peacoats, I have one in Black, Grey, and Beige.
Do more videos about girls and girlfriends plz!
Leather jacket will always be #1 for me. It's all in the material as well. Some can be worn in much warmer weather while some hides are meant for colder climates.
Haha all 3. Harrington jackets all the way
Parkas are really warm and can be really stylish, but these 3 are probably the most versatile.

It's available for free on iamalpham.com website

I bought a charcoal gray peacoat from Schott a few years ago and it’s my favorite thing to wear during the fall and winter.
99% of the dudes look like garbage bags in the 1st jacket, stick to normal leather jackets gentlemen...
Adam Jaffal oshiet oshiet yo sono sikumi wo?
Said the guy who can’t pull the look off..
no
Like I said in some other reply sections I wouldn't use it for looking stylish, just keeping warm.
You should check out Boda Skins leather jackets
i think its a NO FOR PUFFER
Yeah, I could agree. as much as I like the puffer jacket you'd just use it for keeping warm rather than trying to impress someone with it.
Which leather jacket are you wearing? Seen it on other videos and is badass. Alpha can you let us know. Thank you in advance.
My favourite 3some: Me Pete&Pedro
A video without a 3-minute promotion! Dream come true
Black bomber jacket seriously...🤔
Where i live everything you need is a parka for winter, a lightweight puffy jacket for summer etc and a snowmobil jacket
