**Breaks Cobra prisoner free** "We'll get you home, solider. Did you retrieve any intel while you were being held?" "I have a detailed anatomical breakdown of each Joe... So much detail..."
Putting the bathroom directly opposite of the jail cell is demented lol. Definitely something you would see on old toys tho. Love the build so far man!
I love this thing but wouldn't want to share a toilet with a prisoner! The curtains would be great can I suggest a solid door that closes in front of the bars for privacy? Much like a storm door.
@@ActionRobotPunch yeah, needs something to separate them. you should also try making a double-sized insert and see how that looks, especially since you extended the chassis. also, what do you notice about using different scaled pieces with joe scale? ie, what scales work and which dont?
Agreed! I mean, dropping a duece in front of cobra commander or making destro smell your funk is one thing... but who wants to poop in front of the Baroness?!? At least 3d print them a little bottle of poo-pouri! Give those Joe's some dignity!
That extra module for the bathroom is great. I like that it creates kind of a barrier between the living space of the cabin and the functional work space of the garage - good location too for them to clean up as they come inside without tracking mud or whatever deeper inside!
Reading the comments... who could of guessed a pretend toilet would be so conraversial!? The six by wheels really balance out the entire project, and that little bit of length makes it look less top heavy... looks perfect now! Love this project!
Just want to say what a pleasure it is watching your videos and seeing all of the incredible detail and attention you pay to your work. I am absolutely blown away with your helpful narration and direction you take. Thank you for your hard work and for documenting your journey with your products!!!! Please please please keep it up.
Wow, thank you! It’s really nice to hear that. My motivation for making videos is the fun is sharing my projects. It’s amazing how many people, like you, have now seen this vehicle. It’s great to know that it’s enjoyed by folks like yourself. Thanks for the encouraging comment.
I feel like if the Joe team was like holding anyone for longer than a couple hours, that might be a bit of a Geneve Convention violation. Good thing Our Heroes all take war crimes etc. seriously. I just hope no one has had Gung-ho's jambalyah while transporting any Cobra agents to their holding facility :D
It looks great with 6 wheels. And i'm glad you added all that extra stuff , You've now become one of my favorite UA-cam's looking forward to all your videos.Thank you keep up the good work ! 😊
I thought of that but it felt weak on the combat side. But maybe I should. It's easy enough to make different roof pieces. Maybe it could replace the turret. This makes me think I need an observatory with a large telescope. Good ideas. Thanks for watching.
@@ActionRobotPunch Maybe you could add armor plates that fold over the glass. Or you could just make a part of the roof extend upwards a couple inches with windows on the side and a turret on top. Kinda like one of those vans that have expandable roofs for extra space. I can't wait to see the next video!
@@CranjusMcBasketball-e1q yes, a skylight. you could just add a printed ring of armor plates that you could pop down on the window when you need. or make folding plates for it.
I dig it! The Jail Cell is a bit weird but Military/Industrial Complex does it's thing! :D I would have been tempted to put the side-access door in place of the cell, the crew won't always want to go in and out through the garage, but I'm sure there are hatches to come! if you've got room underneath, you should put a Jetski under there, just as a tribute to the days of the "small secondary toy included to add play-value". I'm excited to see how you Greeblie the outside, your work on the inside encourages me that you'll put real thought into it! I'm guessing the Garage is next? Could you have extended the vehicle by turning the garage so the exit is at the rear? It'd make deployment easier... ish!
You should definitely check out some of the earlier videos, I think you'd enjoy them. There's a hatch in the roof, and then a hatch in the turret (on the roof). I did think about an airlock door but with so many openings already I think it's good to go. The exterior will be fun. A couple of people suggested using magnets to secure things to the outside and I'm going to give that a try. Making exterior bits modular could allow the design to change. Thanks for watching.
I didn’t hate it with 4 wheels, but 6 looks awesome. Tungsten Carbide drill bits are your friend for hardened steel. Also a drill press. Constant pressure, low speed, lubricant. For the love of God put a shower curtain across that crapper ! I can’t do my business eyeball to eyeball with a prisoner 😆!
This project and series is super fun and inspiring! Really cool watching this beast evolve. Im feeling like your track is too narrow. Maybe if you decide to go true 6x6 you can find something a little wider set. Would help keep the thing upright while turning and improve the overall look. Just my 2 cents. Great stuff.
Thanks. I ordered some new axles from aliexpress but have been waiting for them to arrive. They should allow me to go true 6x6 and I think they're a little wider. I'm sort of in a tough spot where 1/10 is a bit too big for this but 1/18 is a bit small. I really want to nail down the chassis so it'll be dependable once complete. Thanks for the advice and for watching.
have you considered adding a trailer hitch of some sort? so it could tow extra modules that could be things like a medbay or a communications station. it doesn't have to be in use all the time but it's more a case of having it and not needing it vs going into a situation where you need it but don't have it
Yeah, considered a trailer. I even cut one up to extend the hull. But I don’t like the vulnerability of a separate trailer. I like that the crew can access the interior through corridors and don’t need to climb outside. But, I could decide differently down the road. Thanks for watching.
The modularity is really fun because it also makes sense for a larger vehicle to be made in parts and I could absolutely see different models getting different additions. Like this is largely an exploration/combat vehicle that's meant to operate in a place for a long time. A smaller one possibly without the garage and bathroom could have just a pickup bed back there or some kind of crane or whatever the options are endless. Can't wait to see it once there's a true final coat of paint on it. Do you plan to do it like a classic GJ kinda toy with very solid colors or are you gonna do weathering and stuff to make it feel like its a miniaturized real thing? I kinda love the very toyetic feel of it vs being completely a scale model.
Thanks. And I’d love to explore the modularity in future projects. I think I’m going to try more realistic with this. I’d like to try and match some of my acid rain vehicles in style and finish.
what if the door to the jail was also used as a door that separates the modular so if their is a prisoner the crew can swing the door to allow the prisoner to use the bathroom, but is still separate from the quarters.
Wait a second..wait a second...you put the toilet facing the jail? So you have to have some jailed bad guy watch you poop?! Have to say on this one.....major fail!
Relax :) There'll be a curtain or door or something. And it's modular so it can always get moved around but this is a military/scientific vehicle. Space is at a premium.
@@ActionRobotPunch Sir, I suspect this bathroom arrangement breaks all manner of conformity to the Geneva Convention. You've built a monstrosity of prison torture that is an anathema to the free world!!!
The prison opposite the toilet is in defiance of the Geneva convention.
Haha! Best comment ever.
I can imagine after three generous helpings of Cajun gumbo, Gung Ho could make that prisoner confess almost anything to get out of there!

Yeah, need to fit things in where you can. I do like the idea of that section being a sort of decontamination room.
That's what i thought too 😄Cruel and unusual punishment
Establish dominance. Make the prisoner watch you take a dump.
Interesting 🤔 Thanks for watching 👍
And then leave without flushing and wait until the prisoner is ready to start talking 😂
