- Magic Chess! In this video on the new magic chess season 18 I used the Magic Chess commander Zilong and used the meta synergy combo of elementalist synergy, mage synergy and astro power synergy. Odette carry with elementalist for easy mythical glory wins. Explained more in comments.

Hey guys, in this video I used the Zilong Commander. He has 1 skill which gives you an item that you can upgrade to get different effects.
In this game I decided to play Zilong with Odette elementalist. This is a very strong early/midgame synergy and you can win games fast with low power. This synergy counters kangkung (nature spirit + WM) and plays decently well against the other meta synergies. The only time I don't like oddette ele is when playing against astro assassin with cc immunity.
In the early game I go for elementalist crystal. I grab luo yi at the start if possible. If you don't get luo yi don't worry, you can get 100% chance elementalist crystal by putting in Angela only.
I will level up to level 5 and then start refresh shop. At level 5 my units are 3 astro (Odette + 2 other astro) and 3 ele (Odette with crystal and 2 other ele).
At this part of the game I reroll for odette. Once you get 2* odette you will win most rounds in the early game. If you get 3* it is almost impossible to lose the rounds in the mid game and Odette will 1v9.
My first rune choice in this game were all good options, because I stay at level 5 to reroll for 3* Odette I could have taken steady growth for the 8 gold per turn. I chose magic surge (50% mana backline) because I find that Odette is sometimes slow for the first ult. If I had the same options again I probably would have taken steady growth instead. This is because when I play Odette ele I usually having my units in a square in the corner so most my units are not benefitting from 50% mana.
Zilong Spears
1.Flame Dragon (magic damage + true damage)
2. Dragon Revival (magic dmg + heal on spell cast)
3. Dragon vigilance (defense every spell cast)
4. Draco Serenity (control immunity + heal for dmg)
Once you get 3* odette level up for 6/6 mage. If you get lucky blessing you can go for 6/6 astro or 6/6 elemenalist as well. If you get 3* lunox it is sometimes worth to swap your items to lunox instead of odette.

I use zilong then got hit by abe 😂left 1hp,they're all ask me to surrend and i comeback easily lol.Their power line up is 100+ while mine already hit 200+ .

Since you can only have 4 I don't get the others. Freeze enemy can be good, however need to make sure enemy doesn't have purify or it could be less useful.

Hello, I'm new to magic chess. Can I ask you how do gou guarantee a elementalist crystal ar round 4? Sometimes when i only put Luo Yi in, i don't get elementalist as an option 😢
Hello, Luo yi gives cadia crystal guarantee when alone. To get elementalist 100% of time put in Angela (1 cost elementalist) only. Hope this helps my friend.
Hello, I'm saving for my "first" commander (because I have ling which was free), what commander do you recommend me? I'm in Epic and I'm trying with a lot of compos "strong" compos that I see in videos, could you recommend me more than one compo for that commander?

Hello, I would recommend chou. You can play
1) lancer quartermaster (quartermaster crystal on zilong)
2) 6/6 mage 3/3 astro 3/3 ele lunox(mage crystal on lunox) ,
3) assassin astro (astro crystal + 3 items on 4 cost assassin lategame)
I use chou skill 2 for all 3 builds. Skill 1 is good with assassin astro.
Chou skill 3 is not good in my opinion.

is this bad at late game?
There is some bad matchups lategame for this synergy. 3* hayabusa astro with purify will beat this. There is also some very very good matchups for this comp. For example nature spirit +_ wm is destroyed by oddette ele.
