      The cop on the driver's side telling him twice, "Get back in the car and go 10-8" suggests he's a trainee. Another one badly trained at the academy who has an aggressive attitude to begin with and then being taught on the job to just barely tolerate 'pain in the ass auditors'. Pathetic.

      It's the bureaucratic version of when a wife-beater says "You made me hit you! Why do you make me so mad?! Why can't you just do what I tell you to do?"
      Only a certain type of person would be unaware that this sounds utterly ridiculous. The whole "He wants to bait us" argument is weird. If they know they're being tested why wouldn't they just put their best foot forward instead of allowing their oversized ego to dictate what they do?

Police are not heroes. They prevent no crime, they solve very few and they murder innocent people on a regular basis. If you want to call someone a hero try trash collectors, they protect the neighborhood they serve from vermin, disease and blight all while not murdering the people who pay them. They are out there saving lives while police are out there ruining or ending them.

      Police officers for the most part, don't even know what the Constitution is. Try an officer you know and ask him to name the 5 parts of the first Amendment. Over 90% of police officers can't name them. Which is not surprising since the Constitution and Bill of Rights are not taught in our schools anymore.

    As a black man hearing another black man say, "one of those" people truly bothers me. They clearly don't know their history on how so many freedom riders fought for our rights to walk, eat, drink in the same places. While civil rights activists were called "those people" as in trouble makers.       I am grateful that you provided a broader perspective of a very significant issue.
      My mind typically tracks back to the Little Girl going to a School in Alabama or Rosa Parks and MLK and a lot of personal observations in the 1960's, especially the 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention Peaceful Assemblies that were turned into Riots and eventually the Trial of the Chicago 7.

      Straight into the "Have you got ID?" without investigating anything as well.
      Makes me shudder to think of the scale of rights abuses on the public before smartphones. Judges only really started to question law enforcement narratives quite recently. Prior to the many thousands of videos being published of cops misbehaving, acting criminally, lying, bullying etc a judge would have had no reason not to accept their version of events. Even now there are many who still do so. Thankfully, though, most people know that the majority of cops are either liars, bullies or unwilling to intervene to stop a cop abusing the rights of others.

      The sad part is Jeff or YOU have to verbally warn them that you know your right and they are going to violate them or qualified immunity would protect them when they say "we didn't know".     God bless the homeless vets! Officer Griffith is a disgrace, comes out and immediately requests Jeff's ID? Does not investigate to determine what is going on?     "Combative" is one of those buzzwords they're taught to put in EVERY report that way they can justify physically abusing people. It doesn't actually mean anything. It's just there to rile up a judge or jury into thinking the person they attacked deserved it.

      While that describes the situation for some homeless, it doesn't for all of them. Some are homeless by choice, some are homeless because of mental or emotional problems that they refuse treatment for, some are homeless because of poor choices that they've made and some are homeless because of how they treated others. Not all are homeless because of some societal failure.

The way policing works you end up with all the worst cops because the good ones see how broken the system is and quit because they understandably don’t want to be a part of tyranny.     I have seen maybe a thousand Audits and this is the best one. It shows the discourse between PDs and civilians. The first officer would have gone "hands on" and arrest you regardless of camera and second officer would too if no camera. The PD didn't care what is legal and the lawn sign tells us it is from the top down.

When I was in law enforcement every call I was dispatched to I would review in my head what laws might be in play, where I could and couldn't take action or not. A call like this should have gone like "Hello sir, we received a call regarding your presence here.     Since officer needed to tell his partner twice to get back in the car and go 10-8, you can tell the partner wanted to escalate and go hands on because he was refused ID when he demanded it.

    Jeff, If you didn’t record, the outcome would be different and the two cops camera footage would be missing or mysteriously deleted, the same way Epstein video were lost(Twice). One cop was gloving up to teach a lesson to the local citizenry

      100%. I had to go to court for something and my lawyer requested all the police station video footage of that night and guess what, zero videos ever could be found.

      @@ericanderson8556 When you have committed NO crime , nor broken any law and the police attempt to detain or arrest, you have the LEGAL RIGHT to resist and break free, using dedly force up to and including K!LL!NG the officers in your efforts to regain your rightful freedom, many courts have upheld this action as well.
