John I haven't been subscribed to you for 8 years, but can I tell you something? I used to be a hardcore alchoholic. One time I went on a binge where I drank from sun up to sun down for like 3 days straight. After that I was so fucking down on myself, so depressed and genuinely sad. And for whatever reason (maybe I was watching Jeremy or Stuckman) I came across your channel. I literally (and I'm not kidding) binged watched every single video on theFlickpick and your second channel. I know what terribly depressing break ups feel like. But John you mean SO much more to some people than you think. And I dont want you to think that this is some kind of responsibility or burden you have to carry, I just want you to know that one day about 2 years ago, you saved someones fucking life man. Thank you John.

Markyajv He’s keeping it private which is how it should be. He did explicitly say that he and Britney were no longer together but I can’t remember which video that was. Unfortunately the relationship fell apart and sort of resulted in John to be no longer consistent and not be as well-known as Jeremy and Chris are at this stage. I hope he becomes more consistent because he has the talent in these videos to become a top leading movie related UA-cam channel

Im a 24 year old man who struggles with anxiety (which is embarrassing for me personally) and for whatever reason your vids help me out. Awesome to see you so active on UA-cam again. I'm a huge fan of John Kasinski so I loved The Quiet Place, but I highly recommend You Were Never Really Here starring Joaquin Phenoix. I feel like this movie has gone under everyones radar this year and it's a must see.
I do realize this movie was originally released in 2017 in Europe I believe but didn't come to the states until 2018.

Dude, during Leon The Professional, a drunk Native-American kept yelling that he wanted to "see some titties" every time a very young Natalie Portman was on screen; and when he finally left in the middle of the movie, he broke his whiskey bottle and it stunk like cheap whiskey the rest of the film. That was my worst movie experience...

It’s interesting how you say you wanted The Joker to be like a Scorsese film from the 70s, like Taxi Driver. Scorsese is a producer and he’s stated in interviews that his film King of Comedy will be pretty much a template for the plot to The Joker.

Hey John! I love the enthusiasm you bring to your channel and videos man. I do as actually have a question regarding a particular favorite unknown film of mine. Have you seen Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer? It's a 2007 horror-comedy monster movie that has complete practical effects. It even has Freddy Kruger himself, Robert Englund, in it. If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it. If you have I would actually like to know your thoughts

Completely understand the living in a fort analogy. That's why I have my man cave. It's wall to wall movies, my computer, music, a TV and my couch. It's cosy and has everything I need at my finger tips, even hidden snacks.

My worst theater-going experience was seeing Pacific Rim at a discount theater in the summer of 2013. Showed up late and the auditorium was full, forcing me and my family to sit in the very front row (an area I despite sitting at seeing a movie on a huge screen). On top of that, the A/C broke down and it was insanely hot, and the projector shut down during the previews. Well, it was eventually fixed, but that, the broken A/C, and bending my neck to look at robots and kaiju fight for 2 hours was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, the movie itself was good enough and I've enjoyed it more on subsequent rewatches at the comfort of my own home.

Duude! One time I had HOCOS POCUS, Halloweens 1 & 2, and PEt Cemetery all on a recorded VHS video tape. We used to watch all those together around Halloween.

I get the small comfortability of small spaces. Like that one Cat-Dog episode where Cat enters Dog in a snow sledding competition & Cat has this big red sweater on & then goes inside the sweater where he has a fire place, a nice comfy chair, & a cup of hot chocolate & is just sittin' back relaxing sippin' on that cocoa while dog is outside busting & freezing his ass off for Cat like the loyal dog-friend he is & fuck I can only imagine how comfy that must've felt.

On Halloween night yesterday at like 10:00 pm I walked to my local 7-11 to get some drinks and when I walked out it was dead no trick or treaters barley any cars and the neighborhood was just silent and empty . Some of the lampposts weren’t even working . So I played Laurie’s Theme from Halloween out loud on my speakers and walked to 7-11 and then took the long way back which is basically all neighborhood and it was dark and spooky af . So I feel you John

In terms of a horrible movie experience that I've had before, during the movie Wonder Woman I accidentally spilled my entire large soda on the gentleman and his significant other sitting in front of me. I felt so bad because I can only imagine that I just made that person have the worst movie experience ever ):
Also, someone pulled the fire alarm so the movie stopped for a few minutes, saw the guy went out to wash his hair and then come back. Movie was rewinded 15 minutes so that was an interesting experience. It didn't ruin the movie for me though, Wonder Woman was still amazing.
If an overheated theater is your worst moviegoing experience then you've had it pretty nice, dude.
