Summer Night I guess I don’t see the point of going to the salon if I know how to do my hair. I think that’s the case for most people. The only thing I don’t know how to do with my hair is trim it and that’s the only reason I’ll go to the salon. My hair is waist length, so it’s working for me so far 😅.
Technically, you can wash your own hair, deep condition your own hair, apply products, straighten it, twist out, or whatever style on your own.
It's amazing to me how a lot of Sister's don't know how to cornrow. When I was growing up, that's what we did. We taught each other how to cornrow on the stoop on each other's hair.
Idk why these never turn out right for me. This is so hard on myself! I can cornrow my daughters hair but cannot French braid for nothing!

There's videos on UA-cam that are really helpful. I learned by practicing and watching closely, even though my mom's a hairstylist.
