Erra performing live at Scores Fun Center in Painesville, Ohio on June 8th, 2012. Erra / erra.music Shot and edited by Express Media / expressmediaohio
Came from the future, this guys are absolutelly killing it and had a couple sold out shows at his first headline tour. This is what they deserve and much more
+parkwaydrive KWS Hardest thing to do for you* For some it's very easy and natural. Probably has a lot to do with your competency on both instruments, and your natural rhythm. But practice always makes perfect, and Alexi Laiho from CoB has said in interviews that he will have to practice singing over his riffs a lot before it becomes second nature. The key is to not have to think about it, so if you are thinking about the vocal melody, or lyrics, or your guitar part then you don't know your parts well enough.
I always find it harder to play songs and sing at the same time if it is technical and not written by me. If I write a technical part on guitar I can probably sing over it. It feels more natural to me to play and sing at the same time on a self written song.
I NEVER would have believed he could hit those notes outside the studio if I hadn't stumbled upon this video. Fricken amazing. Best band i've heard in a LONG time.
Still listening to this day it's crazy how far they come my cousin showed them to me when they came out with moments. And gotta say watching this video they've progressed so much instrumentally wise it was a young time for them and prbly weren't used to playing in a crowd hats off to them cause they really tried and practiced and became way better as a unit
This is no where near great quality, but I find myself coming back to it. I wish ERRA would do what other bands do like AUGUST BURNS RED and do ten year anniversaries of albums
after Efflorescent solo jesse started to mess up every fuckin lead, but with all those nasty licks is easy to compreend. they're my favorite band anyways... just need to practice more they're songs.
5:15 he held the mic up to that dude(chick?) can't really tell and they didn't know the words.. HAH! awkward penguin to it's fullest. "Stand in front of a live music show; don't know the words to the song."
I love Erra and all but I have to admit, after watching a few of their live videos, they don't seem to put on very good shows. I guess I'll have to see them live in person.
I am determined to watch everything this band has ever put on the internet
sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yea man same
i played baseball with the bassist. He's freaking awesome
That guitarist/singer is the first guy I see that can actually HIT these high notes. I'm very impressed^-^
15:04
Jesse : I messed up. I'll just give my best headbang 😂
Architect all days

singing and playing guitar is like hands down the hardest thing to do I can barely play guitar while talking to someone

+higler420 I've been playing 7 years and still can't do it lol. Maybe some basic chords but it's no piece of cake for sure
I'd barely count alexi laiho's vox as singing lol
parkwaydrive KWS playing drums and singing?

The song "The Architect" is magnificent!

I find this comment funny since it was 8 years ago and how amazing technology has beome in such a short amount of time

I LOVE YOU GUYS.

C'mom guys, SHARE THIS !!!! THEY DESERVE IT !!
This is no where near great quality, but I find myself coming back to it. I wish ERRA would do what other bands do like AUGUST BURNS RED and do ten year anniversaries of albums
you can tell when they make a mistake cus everything else is perfect... god theyre so good live!
Guys, need to see you in Luxembourg! I love those songs! :)
jesse is the only singer i've seen so far in bands like these that can actually hit his high notes. this band is fucking fantastic
Really cool stage presence after all!
People can only handle so much unfiltered, god-like awesomeness.
Looks like he's one of those metalcore singers who can sing correctly. Kudos for him. He has nice posture and everything.
they are still pretty new to touring, in a year or two they will be super solid at every show i'm sure
k for playing live that voice sounded really good thats sick too i hope they come to canada next year
11:26 This intro is so beautiful sounding.
Hey guys, my band Sentients is playing with these dudes again at the same exact venue on September 28th! Come out if you can!
Damn I love the RGA 121.
Efflorescent what a beast of a song
golden erra
Their clean vocalist always has that beanie on.
Damn that was such a good live set I wish they would have played heart though!
Wish I could have seen Erra during this time especially since they have abandoned their songs from this period
These dudes were on their A game. Sick set.
He is Jesse Cash.. he's a fucking legend :D!
his voice reminds me soooo much of the band 'Of Machines'!
Wish i lived in the right country :(
I'm sorry brotha
🔥🔥🔥🔥
same here!
best clean vocalist, ever
that bassist is a fucking champion!!
I've got a man crush on Jesse Cash
i wish i saw them during this era... no pun intended lol
seen them and i have ashirt and cd signed by all the members
It is actually, theyve talked about it in a video.
BEST album by ERRA… Impulse. No doubt.
They sound so bad live on youtube. They sound wayyyy better in person, and their recordings are just eargasms
I'm pretty jelly you've had the chance to see them live. I live in Las Vegas and they have yet to tour on the west coast. Very envious.
The breakdown on the architect is so sick
COME TO CANADA!
I want to meet the fucking monster who only gave these guys a 20 min set. What how metal come to?
Haha I love ERRA Swolecore FTW \m/
Haha Haha that's great!!
Garrison is a God damn beast.
1. White Noise
2. Vaalbara
3. The Architect
4. Efflorescent
5. Seven
So when's the next Australian tour? ;)
Bye goin to spotfiy now :) Better qual :)
These guys really need to move more
them at their prime..
It can't be. This was before Augment
Ibanez prestige...forget which model, but I think it's actually the one they don't sell in stores anymore. Yeah, it's a fucking sick guitar.
If only By Blood and Iron was still around
i wish i could hear the screams :(
Just watch another video, everyone sounds off sometimes.
Can anyone tell me their set list?
that guy at 5:17 shat himself xD
White Noise *-*
did they ever play "Efflorescent" and "Render The Void" live ?
efflorescent yes, not sure if theyve ever played render the void which is a damn shame.
efflorescent is the 4th song played in this video just saw that haha
get your asses to south america someday!
hi brad :D
...Don't even get me started on Asking Alexandria....
We need Garrison back. Or use my vocals ;)
fuck. this is like 10 minutes away from my house. why did I not know about this????????
They should of played Render The Void...
Erra is the babylonian god of war and plague, but I'm not sure if that is the origin of their name.
Wrong use of the meme. "One does not", is not a question.
But yeah, Pattern Interrupt is one of my favourites.
Not even. Do you really think he would sound like he does on the album?
Second set of live vids I've seen from these guys. Seriously good (love the album) but the drummer messes of way to often :/
garrison lee why you so buff
114 Kassandra
Why doesn't Alex Bois join this band?
Mamoru Dubose why? He never wrote anything in periphery lol
Yeah that was where the name originated. Though they felt the need to say that they dont really believe in babylonian gods lmao.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY. for real dude,
rga121
ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY NOT PLAY PATTERN INTERRUPT?
after Efflorescent solo jesse started to mess up every fuckin lead, but with all those nasty licks is easy to compreend. they're my favorite band anyways... just need to practice more they're songs.
The vocalist look so uncomfortable on stage,:D Love it though
5:15 he held the mic up to that dude(chick?) can't really tell and they didn't know the words.. HAH! awkward penguin to it's fullest. "Stand in front of a live music show; don't know the words to the song."

Still my favorate band(: i'll see how elitist does with there full length(:
the drums sound like a pot
