Algunos sonidos tienen ligeras diferencias con los del MOTIF XS pero, dejando de lado eso, es un excelente instrumento, basta con el MX49 y un piano de 88 teclas como controlador MIDI y lo aprovechas al maximo
Lo que hay es esto, si compras un controlado perderas todos los sonidos del Motif, ciertamente el precio sera mucho mas bajo pero lo genial de este teclado son sus timbres.
Sounds great, no doubt. The overall plastic look feel is not that great though, to say the least. Sad thing that so many people go for convenience and utility these days pinching every penny possible, instead of going for the high quality instruments. And even if one penny pinches, for the price of the MX, I can get a flagship Yamaha instrument on eBay, such as SY99, or EX5. So that's what I do. Plus, I get all the synthesis methods I want such as FM, AN, and VL, which none of the current lineup of Yamaha instruments has. Having said that, I know that the sonic capabilities of the MX-series are excellent. I'd pay a little extra for the Motif-XS rack module, and trigger it from some serious keyboard such as KX88, or Roland A-80. Sorry for my strongly opinionated views, but all these great options are available today, maybe not entirely cheap, but still at reasonable cost.
L77kim77l i agree. i have xs7 and when i plug them both together, the sound output is better on the xs. But the mx is nice and light for portability. But sound quality theres a difference

Suenan muy bien, pero esas teclas de PSR barato que mete Yamaha en esos sintes echan para atrás a cualquiera.
