At 10:24 He says "... majority of people were brought from the interior"! Why do so many African Americans think they came from Ghana? He also mentions Burkina Faso as a place where slaves were brought from, but as of 1726 there was no place called Burkina Faso during the slave trade!
Hold up guy Portuguese were first with Elmina Fort why did he say they didn't build anything? and wasn't Solomon the worlds richest? There were no wars between different tribes, what history books did he read? Didn't Denkyira get routed by Asanti. The guide should admit if he doesn't doesn't know something
diggiddi no he knows the truth,he is just minimizing and concealing Ashanti’s heavy involvement in the transatlantic slave trade. He is spinning this false narrative away from the truth..
But Malians don't give the name. MANSA. Akan word Mansa is the 3 SON OF A WOMAN. But for the name Musa. Is from north region. So where they get the MANSA from
There is difference between slave traders and missionaries, is like comparing business men to Gospel preachers, so Mr Narrator, get some of your facts right,,, ✌️
percy incoom He is simply trying to romanticize and minimize the Ashanti heavy involvement in the transatlantic slave trade. He knows the damn truth,he’s not misinformed. He manipulating and rewriting the history to save face. But TMH knows the truth and I know the truth. After 2 months of research an a hired well qualified genealogist,I discovered,3 generations of my ancestors were traded and sold my the Ashanti’s..I’m glad TMH is exposing their involvement everyday..”He who lead into captivity shall go into into captivity”.
Nana Badu you are right. I am Kofi and took history at St. Augustines College O and A levels and his facts are twisted. I am sick of people confusing the missionaries with British Generals. I am an Ashanti and what people fail to realise we drove the British away after the war with Sir Charles McCarthy. It was Maclean who negotiated the treaty of Fomena to allow for trade and business with. When peace prevailed the British saw it as an opening to enter again only to manipulate the ongoing affairs. For him to say we lived in peace is a lie. The Denkyiras kingdom were abusing the other Akan states with unreasonable demands. I can go on and on but he is not as good as he thinks. He got some right though.
