Thank you Hayley. Very informative❤
Glad it was useful
Great vlog as always very useful information and your top looks great ❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
I'm with you with choosing warm fabric vs dresses. This video is FANTASTIC 😊
Thank you so much!! Yes I’m keeping snug all winter long… although I cannot wait to ditch the big puffy winter coat!
Thank you for this brilliant video. I always make the Toaster.
I'm so pleased you liked it!! I'll add that one to my list
Thanks Hayley, demystifying sweatshirt material, now I just need to try sewing some!!! 🐾🐾
You can do it!
I loved your video for both your presentation and information. You are a natural born teacher. I bought some gorgeous heavy red fleece to make a sweatshirt for my sister and decided to also make several cute hats for my granddaughter and both daughters in law. The hats turned out so cute, but fleece lined with fleece was a bear to work with because of the bulk. I did grade seams, but I particularly liked your suggestion to grade the innermost seam. That will make the top stitching so much easier. I’ve been putting off making the top for my sister, but ready to give it a go!
Thank you so much, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it! Oh that does sound like a bulky project, but glad you've found some useful tips
Thanks for the info. Nice to know difference between the different types of fabrics.
You are so welcome!
I haven’t sewn with sweatshirt fabric yet. I do have the Drew sweatshirt pattern and sweatshirt fabric in various colours to make the cropped colour blocked Drew.
Ooh exciting! You are gonna love it, which colours have you gone for?
@ I’ve chosen to colour block in navy, mustard yellow and a sage green.
Great video Hayley. Thank you 🎉
Thanks for watching!
Toaster sweater is my favorite ❤
I haven’t tried that one yet…
Thank you! Really interesting! I have only made the Billie, but will look forward to your pattern choices! x
So pleased you enjoyed it, I love the Billie
I love sweatshirts but live in too hot Texas. Very short winter. I like the idea of the one you made yourself. Maybe that would work here in Texas 🤞🤞
Definitely check out the Jackson - it's a T-shirt as well as pullover
Either Billie or Stella Hoodie for Comfort
I do love the Billie, not tried the Stella though!
Any thoughts on scuba knit?
I actually haven't ever sewn with scuba I'm afraid so I couldn't say
Thank you.
