@@single-player I was looking for a solid team for this fight, I went with the same teamcomp as you, without knowing about changes, Man, I don't know if I was this unlucky or without ripostes it's that hard, but I ended with 3 ppl on deaths doors but finnishig this fight and almost loosing my mind.
Explaining the build: Vestal is equipped "Ghoulserum Injection" trinket, that infects all the heroes his "Ghoul Plague" disease and increases PROT by 10%, damage by 15% and accuracy by 8. Riposte from Man at Arms works great as usual. To deal with snakes and Aegis shields, Hound's Harry is used.
Tending to ghoul plague cuts down the risk of encountering ghouls or even totally nullifies it while stil letting the trinket buff work right? I'm gonna have to remember this tech for future runs
@@kaizerdeath12 With that plague, you'll encounter Ghoul enemies very often. With all 4 heroes sick, it's about 25% in hallway battles. And your heroes eat twice more, that results in 8 food per check which may cause troubles in non-boss expeditions (usually, map generation in Boss mission allows to skip half of the corridors).
Oh that's a really good strategy, taking advantage of game making the journey to boss rooms a little bit more lenient than average. If they keep that rule for future updates I'l be mindful to plan with that
Will be cool to have "BR" as standalone dungeon mod, just as dungeon zone/monsters/trinkets in vanilla Hamlet, same as Pet Cemetry or Sunward Isles dungeon mods, bcs with complete overhaul (in current view) its incompatabile with 90% of mods for standard DD Guess it will never happend - too complex mod, possibly its impossible to make it as standalone for regular Hamlet DD zone
Yes they do a lot of overwriting of original content....their trinkets and stuff for instance are just renamed and given a new skin version of painting/stone etc. Characters have new abilities with new animations, every enemy is new with new abilities etc etc. Consider it like the difference between Skyrim and Oblivion - same cheats and base code and some of the same resources, but everything else is changed.
If you do want the enemies to show up in normal DD, there are several standalone mods that acts like Vvulf's Invasion, having them come to the hamlet. I do believe they are created by the same modmaker and even older than BR itself.

That was the original concept for BR many years ago. Spurp pictured it being a single dungeon where you fight nothing but Levantine (and it would have had a much bigger roster of enemies) but eventually that became "let's do an overhaul".
After the non-rispote update Houndmaster became the MVP of my estate. Hell mark characters and guarding were the way I went with all the champion bosses. Any opinions on some of the updates? Especially the "We hate Graverobber and Stealth" changes?
Yea, they would restore even 199 stress entering the room, but sadly that was a bug that was patched today. Maybe the stress amount would be 10-20, I'll write exactly when I face her in the second campaign.
This is what devs say in patchnotes: "Fixed issue where Levantine Enchantress healed 100 stress when you encountered her. I have no clue how this wasn't ever reported"
ok, i guess ghoul serum is good actually lmao will you do another attempt after the recent changes to the game, some values were altered on the modern version of the mod
Did they patched that Riposte doesn't work on her big marked attack ?
Yes, they did a couple days ago.
That will make Highwayman not so useful, but MAA is still great for defence.

@@diego8300 I'm sorry, I should have changed or add description to this video.
this overhaul look much more easier than the original
So she's the Black reliquery version of Necromancer but actually competent because the snake can guard.
She also acts like a Prophet with his "Rubble of Ruin" skill. But she doesn't give a full round to prepare to it.
Man this mod is like a darkest dungeon 1.5. Great work on the fight!
Thank you!
bro this mod gonna make me act up and spend a fortune commissioning artists
Hey, they know how to get fans
Yes, do it. Support our artists. They're good folk.
From her design it could be that xelsword made her skeleton.

well, it _does_ take place in a desert, so...
At this point I have surmised that questioning why is pointless, "Inordinate size is not a virtue" and all that.
Now where's the snake charmer so we can have a snake brawl

The Enchantress and her really big . . . snake.
I can't even get to her; this dungeon is so heavy on super high stress inflicting enemies.
Most bosses in a nutshell, outside of Sandwurm but that thing's as strong as a long quest's worth of cavern enemies anyway.

crimson court trinkets? how did u get those?
They drop randomly from enemies along with other loot, the chance is higher in champion dungeons.
