Had this friend who was an exchange student from aussie land. And her accent was very mild but the exact week she moved back home. Her accent became so thick it took me a couple videos to get used to it. It was really funny.

As a fellow Irishman I completely get what Paddy was asking in that restaurant. That’s super common in Ireland. If a customer asks for help or looking for something and it’s not something we sell in the shop you’d recommend another local shop if you know they have what they’re looking for. Like a book or a restaurant or a bustop.
I worked at Dairy Queen for a few years, I’d always recommend people other fast food places around that served ice cream when they had a complaint about our quality, but a lot of people here don’t like when you do that for some reason
it should be a low stakes interaction, I've asked locals where a good place to eat would be, but when you're dealing with corporations, no matter how low on the totem pole you are, you always have in the back of your mind that you're representing the company at that moment. unless you're a complete rebel, you're running anything you do outside of protocol through your boss first. it's funny to imagine she was incapable of independent thought, but honestly its probably just the employee not wanting to cause a headache for herself by jumping the gun that might get her into "trouble."
It's also the fact that all of Ireland could fit in a Wisconsin suburb so it's pretty easy to find something that's just a few steps away

Next we need a fish-fry simulator game with paddy.
The reality is that the batteries at Wal-Mart are placed across the front of the store on big six-sided kiosks with big Duracell and Energizer banners. There's at the least 2-3 of these, and they have any battery you can think of in multiple sized packs. It's very convenient. Also, i live in rural Oklahoma, so dont say i have some fancy Wal-Mart.
Chris and friends are soft-handed city boys and are scared of the wide open plains of the walmart aisles. they would not survive a small town life they are soft.
I was really hoping this would continue. Episodes with random friends always have the potential to be incredible.

I was thinking of how in the new hitman trilogy, if you poison two NPCs at roughly the same time, and they're roughly the same distance from a toilet, they both start heading throw up in one. however, since only one person can use a single toilet at a time, they both "fight" over who gets to take priority over using it based on who's closer. Since AI pathfinding is a bit wonky, they can arbitrarily stop walking, so you can sometimes get them into a loop of one of them getting ahead of the other, forcing the pathing to reset. So you just get two idiots constantly switching who gets to throw up where. if it takes took long, to reach a toilet sometimes the game just gives up and they throw up where they stand.

Russian Fishing 4 is actually pretty fun. It also has what I can only describe as an "introvert meter". When you're in the town, one of the meters goes down. It doesn't seem to DO anything, but it goes down lol.

Paddy is so naturally funny and entertaining to listen to. As someone from a similar country to Ireland, its great to hear perspectives from outside of America.
I worked at walmart for a while and literally they would have new hires fill out questions as "training" that's probably outdated or irrelevant to what they actually DO in that walmart and then once they finish those questions they throw the new hires out onto the floor to figure out what they're supposed to do. For the first week I had to constantly tell customers "sorry it's my first day here" while I tried to figure out how things worked.
That's exactly how my first day went 💀
I spent from 2013 to 2023 working in a Walmart in Florida. Those stories sounded pretty accurate.

I worked in target, and I did not get paid nor treated well enough to bother memorizing the entirety of the store and be able to tell anyone where everything is at all moments, I worked in the front so I had 0 reason ever to walk anywhere besides the front and then leave when my shift was over.
I work at target now and I just put my two weeks in since I got a better job, but dude I put in 5 years and not once at that place have we ever had a boss or anything that cared about us. Just walked around yelling and complaining. If anyone comes across this, please do yourself a favor and don't work there. It doesn't matter how hard you work for them it'll never be enough, like I'm there at 330am to unload trucks and shit and they're just the worst. Your raises will be shit too.
@@hidden1319 Shit raises are all too real, it's corporate policy to only give around 10 extra cent a year, I got the highest raise out of anyone I talked to, a whopping 13 cents, 10 extra years working there I might have made a whole dollar more! Even climbing in the ranks doesn't have you earning all too much more.

@@hidden1319 I started a new job at Target at the end of last year (Same thing as you, unloading trucks around 3:30 or 4 am), and so far it is at least five or seven times better than my last job at Walmart, which I spent seven years at. The environment is quieter and lower-stress, and I'm getting paid more for working fewer hours. The only thing worse is how early I have to get up, with the tradeoff being my exposure to customers being kept at a minimum.
It probably also helps that I'm working part time, but still.
