- There are real discussions going on among Jews in the diaspora about which of their non-Jewish friends would hide them, when it comes to the crunch. Corrie Ten Boom and Dietrich Bonhoeffer are now household names, along with other “righteous Gentiles” who helped Jews during the Holocaust. There’s even a hashtag on Twitter (#Iwould) as the question goes out “Would you hide me?”

I am grieving with Israel mourning their dead, wounded and the hostages of Hamas.And praying for them and all Jews fearing antisemitism in all the world.I am thankful my Godfearing Christian grandparents in our Nazi occupied Denmark, helped in the rescue of Danish Jews to Sweden in October 1943 from a Christian hospital, "Filadelfia"(= brotherly love" in Dianalund, Denmark. Unfortunately I only found out about their involvement in this rescue of Danish Jewry from Mum after their deaths.
And am glad that the Lutheran bishop of Copenhagen, Fuglsang risked his own life to write an open socalled "shepherd letter" to be resd aloud in all Lutheran churches to ask Danes to stand by their Jewish neighbours in that dsngerous period when Hitler wanted Danish Jews caught by the Nazis and sent to CZ camps! Fortunately no Danish official would betray the Jews and assist the Nazis in doing so.And many Danes cooperated in the Jew Rescue.Jews knew they could seek protection in the rectories of Denmark during their fleeing towards free Sweden!I also met a man, Alfred Nielsen, from the Coast Village of Gilleleje, DK, whose row boat in which he rowed Danish Jews to Sweden in 1943, is placed in Jerusalem, where he was honoured for his rescue mission.I worked in Erez Israel, in Jerusalem, in social work for 2 years in the 80- es. I must love God 's Chosen People and stand by them as I do on social media. Corrie ten Boom was someone we respected and loved growing up. I have loved Israel and the Jewish nation since I was a little girl in the 70's. I will always stand with Israel and the Jewish nation as I love them with all my heart. I'm not Jewish, I am Christian but I will always support Israel and would happily hide any and all of my Jewish friends. I was disappointed that my former church did not mention October 7th nor did it pray for Israel. I have found another church. How can we not love the Jewish people as Christians, since our Saviour Jesus is Jewish and only through Him we have salvation. I don't and never will understand anti-semitism. It is evil. My heart was broken when my pastor barely mentioned the attack...but I saw a man one week ago wearing an "I stand with Israel" shirt at church. I made a point to tell him that I loved his shirt. I am a business owner from Florida, and we have the Israeli flag on our wall for all customers to see. I am not Jewish but a gentile believer in the God of Israel and believe that Yeshua is God's messiah and that God did raise him from the dead. If I had influence of the Christian community, I would muster every fighting age male and show up for IDF training. We would stand with Israel through victory or go down swinging together! The U.S. has more Christians than any other country and the first country to show up with a NAVY ready to help. We are far from perfect...but that part made me proud. I would certainly hide you! I contacted my Pastor, since our church will hold a conference soon, and asked him to see if any of the other congregations knew of Messianic or otherwise Jews needing a place to meet- they could do so at our house, or if a family felt they were in danger they could stay with us. I was sincere, but also I was planting a seed that we open our church facilities in the same way and pass the word to other Pastors. We will see if the seed planting will come to action. Before attending this church I made sure they were NOT replacement theology. They are not and my Pastor wrote back that they stand with Israel.

I am a Christian living in the USA and I stand with Israel now and forever. I would risk my life to save any Jewish person regardless if I personally knew them or not. As a Christian, the Bible is clear on this subject. Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” This was a promise from God to Abraham. I love and support Israel. During spring the holy spirit placed on my heart to pray for the sake of Israel, and after to pray for the peace in Jerusalem and in the country.
Some weeks after some messianic jewish asked me to pray for their ministries because they had to bring the gospel among jewish people.
So since many monthes i am praying every day for that, for them, and for you too One for Israel Ministry. I will continue to pray for that (and many other things) every day.
When i can i donate for these ministries too. Since 7th october i am praying with more intensity specially for the freedom of the hostages.

I have read " The Hiding Place" more times than I can count. Yes, I would/will hide the Jews. The sheep and goat judgment is about how the person treated the Jews. I was 14 when I learned of the Holocaust. My heart has been one with them ever since, long before I learned that my Mother's paternal grand- mother was Jewish.
As Yeshua followers, we must be faithful to our Jewish brothers and sisters. It is unfathomable that there is any question of who needs our support given these horrific circumstances. Everyone should remember Jesus’ words to his disciples that the world will hate us because they hate God. Yeshua took on and overcame the world through his submission and absolute obedience to his Father even unto death. This is how he defeated death and the grave. My church leader taught very well about October 7th 👏my prayer group understands the importance of praying for the peace of Jerusalem 🙏🏻 and praying for the salvation of Jewish people.
