Wow this game's universe is insane. Even for the Death Korp of Krieg and Iron Legion of Warhammer 40k there is no realistic way they can siege something like this and win in ground combat. War through attrition will only be a disaster. The siege of Vraks will look like a cakewalk to this verse's industrial output.
Yeah, ACUs are overpowered even for Warhammer standards. They can create massive titan sized armies anywhere in a matter of hours and the only thing they need is just mass, trees, rocks, dirt, you name it.
Probably what's more impressive about Supreme Commander's is the size. A mechmarine is basically the size of a warlord titan and as you may know it's literally the cheapest unit, being able to make thousands in a matter of minutes with just a bunch of factories. Scale that up to a Ythotha that even dwarfs an Imperator Class Titan. And experimentals with enough resources can be mass produced.
@@Vaz44-4 The Supreme Commander verse when it comes to ground planetary combat seems like it can't be directly matched by most sci fi verses where war is prevalent. Most lack the the nessesary deployment speed, ground advancements, fielded manpower, and industrial production speed, and damage output to afford to go pound to pound with Supreme Commander armies and commanders. The Zerg from Starcraft might but other then them there is not much that can go head to head with ground forces for long periods of time and attrition without going to Planetary Annihilation and Stellaris which stomps Supreme Commander in those categories. There's a pretty good Supreme Commander and Warhammer 40k crossover story on Sufficient Velocity called "A Stranger in a War Torn Galaxy" where the protagonist fights forces like the Tyranids often.
@@thorshammer7883 I didn't knew there was a fan crossover of Supreme Commander and Warhammer 40k. I'll check it out because it seems really interesting!
@@Vaz44-4 Yep it is, there's alot of developing dynamics, plot threads, and establishing and changing environment of alliances between the Supreme Commander characters as they interact and negotiate with the Imperium of Man's various factions, leadership circles, and institutions especially in the worlds under siege by the Tyranids attacking across the sector. Even the Sisters of Battle get involved and negotiating with Adeptus Mechanicus has it's ups and downs.
This was actually epic ! Some 1 hour setup time then absolute mayhem XDD Cybran's defenses were quite good using layered setups of shielded turrets, some tech 2 PD, Monkeylords and Crabs. The UEF's Percivals were absolute powerhouses, but they were whittled down, and the Fatboy isn't particularly strong having range as it's advantage to play with. Navy was won by submarine supremacy, air was won with ASF supremacy and the EPIC nuke volleys sealed the deal :)
im not that good at this game lol i just pump as much power as i can into keeping the shields online and pummel with the artillery either experimental or lvl 3 depending on the faction i use
Hell of a cinematic battle, those cybran defense lines firing looked like some good ol imperial guard trenches, also did a spit take at the mavor, but it's all over when the nuke spam comes out and you don't have SMDs
Great video. It had me thinking of an idea that i would like to see pro game, where they are given limited time to build and produce anything but then halt all production and try to win with all you have at the moment.
@@armoredlumberjack1999 To be honest it sounds well on paper. In reality however, i assume it would require some practice to get the feel of what you can do and what you should focus on in that time.

I just can’t play rts games I’m too slow and I end up just building an huge army inside my base not sending them out until I feel like it’s large enough to take everything down i waste too much time with the economy and defense

It takes a bit of time to get used to it but imo its great due to the fact that there are unlimited resources on the map, as in they don't deplete completely and also that it takes some more thinking to manage it correctly unlike other RTS games such as C&C for example.

what if all units were invisible and when the enemy was destroyed, the enemy was eaten by femto machine clouds instead of exploding
