Anything that is $20/weight or less is considered pretty bad unless it’s very close to a deposit point. $30/weight+ is pretty good and anything at the $40/weight+ is exceptional. You also dont make lots of money by just going after the best weight to price ratio items in the map. The equation of a good deposit is this. (“Money in bag” divided by “Seconds spent getting those items”) So a $500 bag that took 5 seconds to get has the same efficiency as a $1000 bag that took 10 seconds to get.

Whenever I run into a new room for an open area, my Roblox camera swings to the camera location to check for cameras right away. Different thieves have different weight capacities. Most thieves have 20, some thieves have 25, and one thief has 40. Santa and Scar have varying weight capacities that change during the round.
Crystalflame can actually be better than Payday when it comes to making money, but he lacks mobility and safety so it’s much easier to die when playing Crystalflame. You also lose significantly more time if a camera is blocking your way/chasing you, while that isn’t that big of a problem to Payday. (Midas has the same problems as Crystalflame) AII Duck is another good pick that can actually be rly fun since u can scale walls and take shortcuts while be annoying by spam jumping and still get decent earnings. Ace is another extremely good pick (and fun), but his speed might be hard to get used to at the start. However, I would recommend him over any other thief on maps where the loot is far away from each other such as Mall and Museum. He’s actually a very safe pick even though he only has 1 hp. The only time that you are ever really vulnerable is when you are depositing/ picking up a really heavy item. These deaths can be minimized if you only deposit/pickup big items after hearing one or both of the cameras switching to different locations so they wont switch to you.

@@Chasewashere.why dont u try Midas on smaller maps for now and Ace on the larger ones. You can play Ace on the smaller maps once you get used to his speed. However, I’m a firm believer that Ace gets more value on bigger maps anyways. As Midas, you ideally want to use his ability as much as possible and being at a good spot each time you get the ability back for maximum value.
Just play normally and steal the special items if u walk by them. Dont walk around the entire map as soon as the game starts to look for them, since that’s a waste of time.

It really is a bit of both. Spots closer to exits are most time efficient, but you also need to get to hotspots before other players start stealing from those spots too. (Armory and Vault) To get consistent good runs, you need a mix of being efficient and stealing items that other people try to take. Finding a new route depends on the layout of the map. It took me a while to find a decent route on Restraurant because it wasnt the best map for making money, which made me prioritize picking it less. It took me less than a week for me to come up with a consistent route for farm, since the layout is less complicated than restaurant and the good items on that map are fairly obvious. Complex took around 2 weeks to find a good route because of the sheer size of the map.
i think going for highly contested areas first is always a good idea (e.g. vault on bank, jewelerry store at mall, armory at police and the fedoras at museum), and then travelling to areas with the most amount of money near to exit points next. Always use 1 weight = $25 to find out whether or not something is worth it or not and overtime by playing you'll find out which items are worth time travelling to get and develop a route
School got removed cuz the layout of the map was very unenjoyable to play for both camera and thief. Complex is the best map in the game for making money, but what map u enjoy to play the most depends on u.
You need to get that specific thief 5/15/30 times from the thief shop for Gold/Emerald/Ruby. Example: I got Medusa 5 times from thief shop, so I have the gold skin for that thief unlocked
