Nice one paul for capturing this,us north enders have the best community in the northwest and i'm so proud the be apart of this and for the effort everyone put in, love them all
Lived in the North End just off Ilchester Rd for just over a year now, never had any bother and the people i meet are proper sound. Havent gotten down to the bomby yet because of work and that but ill get there one of these years. Well done everyone, proper community spirit on show!
"On the banks of the river Mersey, it is morning in the streets as the boys in their football jerseys play that music with their feet. They're bound for the greatest glory than the North End has ever seen. You can bet they all know the story of the legendary Dixie Dean"...
That's one crazy bonfire, what an effort. I'm surprised the houses around the way don't look like melted cheese in the morning.. But wow what an event 👌
@@pepperstuttard79 yes I was, that why I added that comment, ridiculous idea to stack thousands of pallets and set it on fire near houses and people around, it's not safe for anyone and large burning sparks can fly around, land on the someone roof and set up house in fire,I guess people who organised this event have no idea what they doing.I didn't see around any 🚒 brigade.....no comment mate ;)
Can somebody explain how this type of event is given the go ahead by the authorities. I would of thought the police would be all over it,making sure it doesn't happen
They banned bronco matches and bangers for being dangerous, yet you can walk into a supermarket and buy something the equivalent of a bomb, ban them all I say

Absolute stupidity of that. I bet there was no risk assessment. And while the Fire bobbies were there if they'd been called away or that had got out of hand, one can only wonder.
Fantastic display and a great community spirit. Thanks to everybody who contributed to building this.

I thought we had a problem with polllutants in the atmosphere ?
This is wood not a pile of tyres.
Good job lands, were does all the wood come from and Fred Dibnah would be proud
local palate firms
I’m amazed the council gave this the green light.
not only the council gave the go ahead but the fire brigade also gave advice and the go ahead.
The heat off that thing , no one could stand near it
Imagine it's a hundred or thousands burning pallets 😂
@Muflinn I'm guessing you've not been in close proximity to a massive fire , I'm surprised the houses across the way weren't getting heat damaged

Only on Merseyside.
Great video. Well done, guys. Hope everybody had a good night and that there was no throwing fireworks at cars and buses.

That's good to hear.
Great party like in medieval age 😂😂😂
Was there a cut of Diddy on the top?
yeah and jacko and saville lol
🤣🤣🤣
Wouldn’t like to have been around for the aftermath pollution and flying ash. Great community activity but maybe not so huge next time.
Great job of building it.. cou;;d have done better in lighting it, huge sections not list. - Interested in seeing the aftermath & clean up..
I agree with you mate
Bet it was warm there
And why that distracted the little scallys were robbing houses 😂
Just drove past it and it's still on fire.
lol
Can somebody explain how this type of event is given the go ahead by the authorities.
I would of thought the police would be all over it,making sure it doesn't happen
It was risk assessed
Must have a big old pile nails after that
Is that a picture of the P diddler on the side of it
lol yeah the other guys were jacko and Saville
@@veryhighguy Excellent 👍
No health and safety, when i was a kid. We'd have been without touching distance, putting spuds at the bottom.
