- This year local organisers of the bonfire were joined by Merseyside fire brigade and Wirral council for assistance with the event.
Thousands turned out for the fire and display all put on by locals. the fire has took over 3 weeks to build with collecting of wood going on all year. The event went off with out any problems.
In the video you see the construction of the bonfire, The Lighting of it and watching it reach full Height.
Fantastic display and a great community spirit. Thanks to everybody who contributed to building this.
Now that's what I call community spirit...wonderful to see...☘☘
Nice one paul for capturing this,us north enders have the best community in the northwest and i'm so proud the be apart of this and for the effort everyone put in, love them all
it was brilliant, very friendly people and great atmosphere. it was my first time but will be back
Belter lil night. Such a great feeling seeing this community come together to create a great night for all to enjoy. I salute all who contributed ❤❤

Amazing design . I think we have a few architects in our mist 🥳
Used to live in Tyrer street for years just opposite the blood tub, it’s changed a lot.
The pallet gods give a 👍 big gathering for a smooth 🔥

Wow, many scallies make big fire. 🎉🎉🎉
That fires immense!
"On the banks of the river Mersey, it is morning in the streets as the boys in their football jerseys play that music with their feet. They're bound for the greatest glory than the North End has ever seen. You can bet they all know the story of the legendary Dixie Dean"...
I Love Our
Community Spirit .
Great video. Well done, guys. Hope everybody had a good night and that there was no throwing fireworks at cars and buses.
it was a great atmosphere when i was there
That's good to hear.
That's one crazy bonfire, what an effort. I'm surprised the houses around the way don't look like melted cheese in the morning..
But wow what an event 👌
i would of liked to go back se the aftermath and clean up but never had time. next year maybe :)
Lived there for 5 yrs,,great people
Yeah it was a great atmosphere
Apart from their politics which fucking suck
That's brilliant nice one looks a great night 👍❤🇬🇧
The heat off that thing , no one could stand near it
Imagine it's a hundred or thousands burning pallets 😂
@Muflinn I'm guessing you've not been in close proximity to a massive fire , I'm surprised the houses across the way weren't getting heat damaged
@@pepperstuttard79 yes I was, that why I added that comment, ridiculous idea to stack thousands of pallets and set it on fire near houses and people around, it's not safe for anyone and large burning sparks can fly around, land on the someone roof and set up house in fire,I guess people who organised this event have no idea what they doing.I didn't see around any 🚒 brigade.....no comment mate ;)
Great party like in medieval age 😂😂😂
Good job lands, were does all the wood come from and Fred Dibnah would be proud
local palate firms
Only on Merseyside.
Great job of building it.. cou;;d have done better in lighting it, huge sections not list. - Interested in seeing the aftermath & clean up..
I agree with you mate
Just drove past it and it's still on fire.
lol
Wouldn’t like to have been around for the aftermath pollution and flying ash. Great community activity but maybe not so huge next time.
I thought we had a problem with polllutants in the atmosphere ?
This is wood not a pile of tyres.
I’m amazed the council gave this the green light.
not only the council gave the go ahead but the fire brigade also gave advice and the go ahead.
Bet it was warm there
Was there a cut of Diddy on the top?
yeah and jacko and saville lol
🤣🤣🤣
Must have a big old pile nails after that
And why that distracted the little scallys were robbing houses 😂
epic
Can somebody explain how this type of event is given the go ahead by the authorities.
I would of thought the police would be all over it,making sure it doesn't happen
It was risk assessed
No health and safety, when i was a kid. We'd have been without touching distance, putting spuds at the bottom.
Is that pdiddy, michael jackson and jimmy saville on top?😂😂😂😂😂
@@2412Bec haha yeah
Is that a picture of the P diddler on the side of it
lol yeah the other guys were jacko and Saville
@@veryhighguy Excellent 👍
Who was the one in the red 😂
jacko lol
@veryhighguy I thought Gazza👎
Lighting 😂
@@WilliamFisher-jn4ul lol I know but it was to late I had uploaded it 😂
Fireworks should banned Paul but 👍
They banned bronco matches and bangers for being dangerous, yet you can walk into a supermarket and buy something the equivalent of a bomb, ban them all I say
@ my dog nearly had heart attack last night
mine does not like them ether
@ wife looking after the dog while you went out?
@@Shaz-YNWAif you neglect to firework train your dog it's your fault if your dog is scared. You need to take responsibility for your pets and stop blaming others for your negligence.
Absolute stupidity of that. I bet there was no risk assessment. And while the Fire bobbies were there if they'd been called away or that had got out of hand, one can only wonder.
Got out of hand? Its a bonfire it's supposed to burn 😂. It's 100s of metres away from any homes
Why didnt they put Guy Fawkes on the top ? Thats what November 5th is all about .
They did. It was p diddy, saville and jacko
