You could drop the cube in town. All fitting items will be in your inventory, Rest on the ground. And btw: if you have 28mf less and therefor a cube in the inv, you gain farming speed. You can also cube gems right on the way

Not at all. Cube inv is only beneficial if you're only picking up uniques or for pvp. It's too slow if you id most rares and magics.
