They need to do this like realistic formula 1. 20 people in 10 different manufacturers, atleast 50% laps and season lasting 2-3 months. The game has the potential to do this. F1 E-Sports Series. And then there would be like different classes too, 100% and 25% and everyone with the same car.

You should try watching f1 sometime. Its a little bit hit or miss with fan races, but it is usually quite entertaining. It is pretty complicated and hard to understand tho.

because of a great job done by great commentators on a more and more realistic getting simulator (well, an arcade game unless you play sim settings, but this is on sim settings.)
plus its touchable, you can relate to this almost better then the real thing , its also a bit more exciting cuz your life isnt on the line by pressing the limit - (well and the fact that no g forces keep you from doing that permanently, and the races being shorter)
Cause you can't enjoy cause the announcers don't stop yapping their mouths

The youtuber "seen through glass" had an interview with Sebastian Vettel and a couple of laps on f1 2016 or 2017 I don't really know. Both weren't really good. The Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 Team UA-cam channel has track guides with Carlos Sainz and daniil kvyat doing a few laps on f1 2016. They are definitely not as good as f1 pro players
I think that feedback makes the videogame trickier for F1 drivers. They dont feel the tires and g forces. their simulators are awesome though.

Its just a game and the pro players know how to play it whilst the f1 pros would have to adapt to it to get as good as the esports guys

Good on him that he talked respectfully about the 2nd and third place winners, saying he hopes to be challenged again by them in the future. I think that is mostly a bug with spectator mode.
There's no realism in this GAME, it's not a Simulator
right. If you spectate someone, the tyres almost always lock up, while the driver actually didnt.

It would explain Sven no longer being right behind the top 2 and being challenged by 4 and 5. He locked up too much and his pace fell off.
Leigh had epic pace in this race. But its a bit bullshit that he got released before Zurner out of the pits
Since the top 6 at the time all went to the pits I guess that he was hold up in the pit because his box was the first and there were other cars entering the pits. Could be the same in real F1 because they would risk a penalty for unsafe release but the game prevents these cases by not allowing the car to continue driving.
+Tim Just like last year Abu Dhabi when both Mercedes cars had to be held cause both times a Ferrari car came buy :D Luckily it wasn't a decider, but sure as hell it was tense to watch.

+HadriAn How so? you drive to the pits and into your box yourself and deal with the pit limiter. It works in proper simulators so why shouldn't it work on F1 games?
So much respect for the F1 management to have these events on the main channel and not on a separate one, so more people actually see these races easily. Great event and nice to see F1 is taking part in esports as well.

This is genuinely great content for eSports fans. Brendon’s move should’ve if anything been investigated by an admin or marshals to an extent (I’ve never played AOR so not sure if they have them) as he hardly left any room, but it was a fantastic drive all championship, congrats
I'm glad Leigh, Finn and Harry all showed what the F1 community could do against the Sims. Represented well, and Finn and Harry could've done better if they had more luck. Congrats to Leigh/Cupid. Come a long way from AOR season 11 haha.

I admit, full race could be too long, but I think that a race this short is unfair. There's literally almost no tyre, fuel and generally pit strategy, and the winner should be the best driver and strategist :)

The other one with accent is Davide Valsecchi (don't know if spelling is right), he works for Sky Italia and Formula 2 on Sky UK.

I dissaprove of the attitude of brendon leigh, but he did deserve to win this race. Everything, except for the pitstop, was working against him. He was behind 2 seconds and had to defend from zurner multiple occassions but still won. Very impressive.

james elder nah the last race should be 100% it adds a ton more strategy in it and makes so you have to conserve tires and fuel 25% is super easy

22:38 what a cvnt...i mean you leave him no space at all and then you complain about him cutting the corner? Looking at him, he probably squeezed Donoso out on purpose knowing he would get a penalty
3 seconds penalty was ridiculous, on top of the game penalty code they should have had a human jury with common sense.
They should replays between end of the race and the ceremony where you could see that Leigh did leave space on the inside of the next corner after he squeezed Donoso to the track limits before so it is Donoso's fault that he cut he corner because he didn't expect that there would be room left for him.
Leigh cut a corner 10 times worse than Donoso did though and didn't get a penalty? That's what I don't understand if I do that in the game i get at least a 5 second penalty for cutting a corner that much

I kinda agree with your statement, however I'm 90% sure they did have a human jury at the end which is why he should of kept his position and awaited the official decision after, not the game code. You can see this by several comments made "there's one for the judicature to look at after" and the build up of suspense on the driver who was named 2nd hence Brandon Leigh getting nervous unsure as to whether or not he had actually won the championship due to the fact he might of been penalised by said judicatures.

You can keep your boring names of boring corners like Eau Rouge/Raidillon, Sainte-Dévote, the Parabolica and 130R.
What I love about Tilkedromes is the return of romance to the sport. Once you've seen a race at Yas Marina, how could you ever forget the splendour of corners like Turn Nineteen, Turn Three and the peerless Turn Twelve?
