    Amazing military bearing. my JROTC Program has LET 4's who dont even know 15 count manual arms and basic drill movements.

    As a LET 2 in drill team I am proud to say this is the greatest team I’ve ever seen in my life, my team doesn’t even know how to be in sync and this is just awesome
    Edit: Currently a LET 4, as well as an armed drill captain, and I’m still impressed by this video to this day, our school uses this video to make our marching and movements look sharp. Crazy how time flies, huh?

    As a marine, some of those army commands sounded so odd to my ear and saying “yes, first sgt” in response to a command sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Solid drill performance though.

    • @CMDR.Gonzo.von.Richthofen
      @CMDR.Gonzo.von.Richthofen 4 роки тому +3

      Hearing someone say 'yes' to a command always got to me. It doesn't make any sense. Thankfully, we have the 'aye aye' so that Marines never have to sound like they don't understand how the English language works. Semper Fi.

    The only thing I noticed was that your legs aren’t parallel to the deck when you mark time. I don’t believe it’s points off for not doing that. But it sure does make it look clean... :) loved it, 👍🏻

  • @KilroyActual
    @KilroyActual 6 років тому +64

    Right off the bat.... extremely over-exaggerated arm swing. Tone it down. The commander's manual of arms with the sabre is wrong for his present and order. You go straight from the face, to point at the ground, and vice versa.... not make a big elliptical between the two movements. Refresh on your manual and don't add unnecessary flourishes. Inspection Arms, while snappy and on point, it is also incorrect. It is a 5 count movement. Port Arms is correct however. All in all it was a pretty solid performance.

He is a former army/air force ceremonial guardsman and runs a coaching business as well as a website, instagram, and facebook page with mulitple resources and educational tidbits. In the routine, it doesn't say present arms. The commander does that for his team.

  • @fastestinakina9341
    @fastestinakina9341 3 роки тому +10

    Commander calls things way too fast, he sets the pace for the counts hence the counts being too fast. He’s rushing the platoon. Also arm swing is way too exaggerated.
