One of the best episodes, with THREE happy endings! Two sisters and one caravan! TFS
We love you Kirstie and Phil
I liked Kirstie using the word "flexibility". It has a much better feel than "compromise", the word that's usually used by everyone, and it gives me a sense of creative potential and growth. "Compromise" feels like shrinkage, and literally feels like a drag.
Phil and Kirstie are so young.
In the US we get "authorized" and approved first before we EVER make an offer. That way we know, the seller knows and the bank knows that we have the necessary available cash on hand for the down payment needed, that we can make the monthly mortgage payments. the PMI's the property taxes, all the mortgage company's charges (like filing fees etc.) and we have the cash on hand to pay the property taxes that must be paid at the time of the purchase. It's important to have another lump sum of cash in case of any major surprises/unexpected costs that we might encounter. A $200,000 dollar home can expect around $20,000 in buying costs; which includes the real estate agent's 6% fee. In our country home we encountered the costs for a new septic and drainfield and associated pipes into the home just 4 months after the purchase. This happened to us even though the county officials had perked, inspected and approved the homes septic system. So, these unplanned surprises do happen.
I love this show and it was so sweet how the Sisters r together .I know My Sister and I would be the same ,I hope anyway lol
Love this program Phil and kirsty are brilliant ❤❤❤❤
Wow ❤ So Loving Sisters
Fun Fact: This is the lowest budget on the show in the 22+ years they have been on the air, even adjusting for inflation.
Susan could ask her sister if they could park the caravan on a bit of her property
This episode was hilarious!
I mean, I know this is the year 2000, but $60K British pounds is $68K American, and that's an insanely low price for a home!
I used to watch Footballer's Wife's and the sister was from Bolton.
Interesting episode 😊
In 🇺🇸 a "step-saver kitchen" often means a kitchen so small only one person can fit in it.
Good luck with your serch, Neil and Susan 🤗🌹🦋🌷🌷🦋🌹🦋🦋🦋🌹🐞🦋🌷
A lovely happy ending for both families. However, some raised the suggestion that susan could have asked for sister if they could park their caravan on their land. I thought about that too but since it didn't cost much to park it in the caravan park, and to avoid potential issues that might arise later, it's better they have their own space. Who knows if the sister has plans for that land hence the reason she really wanted the property, trying to talk her out of buying it and giving them another house as an option. Maybe those plans would make it a problem to park the caravan there.
What a fun episode! We need an update, please.
it's really surprising that the English Suburban residential architecture is so ugly . Why is the double ( side by side residences so overwhelmingly redundant ?
They have changed the format, not that enjoyable now 😢
