Good stuff. Thanks for sharing! I know we’re dealing with the aural tradition of the music, but a PDF of the licks from this video (and many of your other educational videos) would be helpful.
I feel you. I do offer a pdf handout for each youtube video on my patreon. It is a few dollars a month ($3) to access the handouts. They have all the information from each lesson (often times transposed through some different keys) and typically several additional ideas/exercises that are similar from a conceptual standpoint as to what is presented on youtube. Thanks for checking out the videos.
Thank you for your teachings.
This is good instruction. I look forward to recordings by Paper Canaries.
Nice Shawn! Thank you for sharing!
Man, thank you so much. This works great for the upright bass as well.

Cool now I've got something to work on this week. Trying to get some better improv skills under my belt before I start my jazz degree this fall!
Where are you enrolled?
Good luck Lance, have a blast

Really clear, very useful, and very impressive. I think the explanations are essential and well presented. I'm a subscriber now:)
you need to update your presskit which still refers to the band by its previous name.
