I have been using smk helmets for 7yrs....i will say....the strap and metalic rings get worn out very quickly....rings get rusty....and the rubber part of the cheek pads...develope crack very quickly....has loud wind noise....
I've a question I'm kinda thin and my head size would be S or maybe Xs I'm not sure I've 2 helmets in mind smk typhoon and mt Thunder 3 pro being thin which helmet would suit me better?
@MotorHead-Shinjan I've rc 200 i want helmet for everyday like work to home and during winters it's dark that's why i prefer dual visor even tho i really loved the KYT tt course helmet.. but my main concern is the shell size if it looks like a helmet is too big on my head
My weekend trips aren't that Long normal between the range of 150 to 250 km in total and i live in uttarakhand dehradun so most of the trips are to the hills..
i have purschased SMK TYPHOON Aerot (Exactly this helmet in red/black color) today. I got that at 4600/- from offline store. Really the helmet doesn't feels like 1575gms. isse lightweight feel hota hain. Axor apex bhi try kiya tha par usse iska cushion & weight management acha laga. At the same time ye compatiable hain zyada. Mera bas yehi puchna hain aapse bhaiya ki mai Axor Apex Chrometech lene gaya tha par ye SMK TYPHOON series ka helmet le aya. Is this a good decision or not? Axor Apex Mereko 4400/- par mil raha tha.
@@SunilKumar-pl8hn Jyada thick matlab jyada safe nahi hota hai, video me bhi bhaiya ne bola hai ki SMK Typhoon is far more quality product, which I didn't know because I did not use SMK TYPHOON personally. But shell wise SMK is much safer because of the use of polycarbonate shell instead of ABS ( ABS is cheaper )
@@SunilKumar-pl8hn And one advice from my side, avoid bigger helmets. Axor are biggest in the Market. Causes neck pain in longer use case. Also might be due to the poor weight distribution.
@deepalsao if you ask me I will suggest to go for LS2 Stream 2 as MT thunder 3 is an obsolete model currently sold in developing markets only as it is ECE 22.05 and not being updated till now to ECE 22.06 it was updated to Thunder 4 which is ECE 22.06 which is costlier than Stream 2.

I had quiet a different experience, bought this heey over apex axor and mt hummer, as it has 2 shell sizes, i got the smaller one. A few days in, found a latch broken, and the struggle started there, it's hell of a job to get the product replaced. They repaired the helmet, with another part loose. No doubt a good helmet. Customer support is not so good. Fit isgreat Air vents don't work much Cheek pads are great. Visor is not much of a scratch resistant, so be careful.

This helmet has got some air flow issues....it kinda gets suffocating inside at times even when all the vents are open

Haven't faced big problem at moderate speed, but yeah will feel the suffocation at slow speed

Brother, please put a leather or suede piece on top of your table. Suede and wood go well together, also it would be soft on the product.
