What a chore it was in the Danganronpa games to have to get the backstory of 12 characters at the start of the game. Not to mention slogging through the free time events.
I can’t believe it’s already out ! I’ve had my eyes on it since the direct they’ve announced it in. I love murder mysteries and the art style looks incredible. I’ll buy it for sure !
I honestly loved every part of this game even the mystery labyrinths as they each had their own unique elements and except the first one weren’t straightforward at all. I found it really fun and that they improved on gameplay with deduction and logic. I can see the straight hallways occasionally being annoying but they aren’t that long or bothersome. I found the it all really refreshing and sad I finished it so fast! It was always very easy to get attached to all the characters and they wrapped it up in the best way I believe possible. I think it does a great job of being a stand alone title and spiritual successor for danganronpa and hope they make more games like this!
Dude i was waiting for the game since it got announced. i’m so glad it’s as good as i thought it would be. my copy of the game should be arriving this thursday
This game is pretty dope. Just finished the prologue and the game really opens up once you get to Kanai Ward. I'm impressed. Like a high budget Danganronpa
I love this game, I wasn’t super hyped because it isn’t Danganronpa but it does a great job of taking everything that made that franchise good and making something new with it. The story is amazing so far, just finished Chapter 2 and it broke me.
Finally finished the game! No spoilers, but the ending was actually satisfying in this one! That’s something the DR games never quite managed for me so that was super surprising! Mostly agree with the review though, excited to try the DLC!
ngl, i was finished this until epilogue, this game was a blast if you like danganronpa or mystery series. this game has more fantasy(both story and solving case) than danganronpa, but it's the charm itself was there. you will find case like danganronpa, music that resemble danganronpa, also nanami chiaki-like in this game. chapter after chapter the game will mix things up and make me marathon the game.
To lend a helping hand to those thinking of buying it: if you liked danganronpa you'll like this. In characters, gameplay and story they are alike. However much danganronpa tickles your pickle, this will do the same. It's not that deep otherwise. Don't accidentally talk yourself out of buying the game because you'd be missing out.
Even if they have 3 danganrompa in the bag, some of the complain in Raincode could be made on the original Danganrompa, it can be quite repetitive to walk around the small areas, and the mini games to solve the mysteries are also quite repetitive. Raincode is hopefully the first in a series, the receipe will mature with new episodes.
This game looks like it was not designed for the switch in mind. Ill wait for the pc port. No More Heroes had the same issue where it looked real rough on switch making me think it was not souly designed for just the switch
Not a fan of these games but I did watch a friends playthrough I found this to be just like Danganronpa but in 3d, with vore anda girl thorning up if thats your thing. The labyrinth is just a new way to repeat the info you just got (these games love doing that) and I would not call these boss fights its just a courtroom your courser and truth bullets just become the MC and a sword. They did drop some cash on this game its a big step up from jpg image so that's cool. I do wish these labyrinth wouldn't drag out soo long, but have to be a good friend and watch them beat that they love.
Question! I was considering buying this but for $60 price point I watched one video play thru and it was a ton point and click and reading is there ever fights or map or movement? I don’t mind reading or a good story and the art and graphics alone ARE worth $60 to me! Plz let me know the play style if not just point and click ^_^
im here to leave a like and tell you im not going to watch the video, i'll go play it as soon as i can because i want to go in completely blind (same as when i first played danganronpa and it blew me away, i didnt even knew what genre it was)
I want to get the game personally but since it is the game that is made by the people who made dangaronpa, I’m little shaken to lose some main characters who have characters that I grew attack to died in the main story… maybe but not right now
I really enjoy the first 2 danganronpa games but I didn’t like how the games would fall off the rails towards the end. It’s felt exhausting and ridiculous to play. I’m curious if this is how this one would turns out.

I appreciate the fact that you don't just focus on the popular games, but also give
I love how you always provide alternatives to the game you're reviewing, it's very

Your review was so good, I had to share it with my friends!
I like the way they used words to dodge, jump and attack instead of bullet
This game review was spot-on, you really nailed all the important aspects of the
Just finished the introduction. From what I've seen so far, it's probably one of my favorite Switch games for this year!
I love Spike Chunsoft games! Finally started it today and I’m loving it so far!
Glad to hear this is a return to form for the Devs after World's End Quest.
"You got Shinigami herself" Proceeds to show Halara Nightmare instead.
Visually this was right up my alley. Gameplay wise, not so much. Happy to have seen this review. Thanks for the inputs.
Man it was such a trip having Danganronpa being this obscure game you needed a fan patch for to selling over 5 million

I'm on chapter 3 and I'm loving it! I have the feeling no one is talking about this game, it will be a hidden gem for sure
Shinigami slaps Monokuma the face and says "Soooooo...you're supposed to be funny and insane? Really?"

Your review was so informative, I feel like I've already played the game.
Chapter 1, 2, and 5 are my favorite. I'd like to see more of this game
I'm loving the game so far and I'm extremelly upset that nobody is talking about it. I hate it that Nintendo didn't show it off in the last direct.

I have been sooooo excited for this game! I haven’t had the extra cash but I’m hoping to grab it next week. It looks like so much fun!

I personally love this game so far, im currently near the end of what i think is the final chapter.
I love danganronpa and Spike Chunsoft's works. Will definitely be picking this up when i get the chance!
Just played the whole thing, this game is so good
This creator has guts...had the gall to kill that person(s) in just the introductory chapter?!?
This game looks like it has a lot of potential, thanks for sharing your thoughts on it.
No lie Felix I absolutely love the Danganronpa series hands down the best murder mystery game I've played
I wanted to know if the story was any good, and it sounds like it delivers there! So I'm going for it! ️

attention to lesser-known ones.

positives and negatives of each game.

I want this so bad but I’m so broke right now. I’ve played every danganronpa and am obsessed. So sad I can’t play this anytime soon.
Can't wait to get this game but 8 need a job and need to save up for 8t and pikim 1 2 and 4
helpful.
i'd love to play; i just cant find the physical copy anywhere

Personally, i like the method for character interaction and find it superior to Danganronpa.

game.
Its a good game but its not even close to danganronpa sadly when it comes to immersion and the overall story.
Looks like something I'm more interested in for the atmosphere than the actual gameplay. The city area looks amazing.
