The 6 chime should’ve been 4449’s permanent whistle. It’s suits her really well. No matter what color she is. It makes her more attractive in my opinion
During the time of those trips, the owner of the ATSF 6 was being somewhat of a pest, constantly asking for cab rides, so, somewhere in 1977, Doyle took out the whistle, with the crowd booing the owner for constantly bugging the team. That's why it wasn't kept, because the owner was being annoying.
