I find it interesting that so many of us are so fascinated with Sanskrit and all excited about learning it, when it's very obscure and difficult to learn! (Oh, yes it is!) I say this because I think the Divine pulls us towards it and gives us the love and energy for it :-) I get up in the morning these days thinking, "Oh boy! I get to learn some new Sanskrit grammar today after I finish my chores..." What has happened to me.. I was just a normal American lady
As an English guy finally finding my path, I feel Sanskrit will take me some time. There's so much culture and history that we were taught to ignore while I was growing up. Thank you for your videos. I'm excited to learn so much more than a language!
After 3 years of learning sanskrit, now in my 4th year after watching some sanskrit learning related videos on this channel I am enjoying sanskrit so much!! Glad to learn this अमृतवाणी संस्कृत भाषा! धन्यवाद आयी संस्कृत channel 🙏🙏
Ayi! I love the examples that you used from spiritual songs/music, 2 of my favorites so I love knowing more about the meaning of the lyrics. This video is very helpful, thank you
Please Do continue making video in this series. It's a good effort. I am showing this to my kid also and introducing Sanskrit. Do make more such video for beginners so that our next generation learns in simple & easy way. Thanks in advance.
Thankyou for this ❤️ I became more religious since I came to know that my family is decandants of Bharat ji (younger brother of Lord Ram ❤️) and I'm reading sanskrit holy books so it's gonna be useful for me :)
I love this playlist for learning sanskrit. It is an awesome resource. Biggest, most massive and awesome refulgence of my sincerest thanks for your video and your work in general. However, there are many other videos on this channel that also teach sanskrit well. Could you add to this playlist please? It may be easier for me to make such a playlist and share it with you also. I'll edit this post with its in case it helps anyone.
Bhoh!! Great work.Continue bcz surely it would be considered in education system to a greater extent .Bcz I am gonna do it Bhoh:!! Namaskaram ! Dhanyawaadah!!
Love this channel, found it today! All your explanation is to do with Isha songs or with Sadhguru, always wondered what did all the songs mean. Are you his disciple?
"Ay Boo" is not an entirely uncommon greeting in English. Especially when a male is hailing his beloved. It's striking how these uttrances come back to us naturally.
Vedic Civilisation is the mother/father of all ancient Indo European Civilisations. Vedic knowledge, esp in the form of Buddhism, also influenced Far East, South East Asia. This is why a lot of languages have same sounds and meanings as with Sanskrit words. This can be seen esp in scientific fields like Maths (Trigonometry = Trikon in Sanskrit meaning 3 corners), Even so called Golden period of Islam owes its knowledge to an Indologist Al Barouni, who simply translated the Vedic science from Sanskrit to Arabic and became famous as a great mathematician. Al Biruni was fascinated by knowledge of Maths and Astronomy in India and translated ancient Indian books into Persian, Greek and Arabic. The science behind the moon phases were known to Indians and used in their calendars already at a time when medieval Arab and Europe were debating whether the Earth was flat
Beautiful videos. Regarding the two dots after letter Bho needs to be stressed and pronounced with sound ha? E. G." Bho ha" ? Can you plz.clear my doubt. Regards.🙏
There is a fantastic samskrita Bharati book, that teaches Sanskrit through Bhagavad Gita shlokas. You could start reading it, and eventually form a group of interested people who want to learn it. All the best 👍🙏
@@TheSanskritChannel Thank you so much Guruji for taking up this approach of teaching Sanskrit to the masses especially the youngsters in such unique and wonderful way!
@@kartikshetty5579 Bho Kartik! I'm traveling in the same boat. I would like to start learning and start conversing in Sanskrit but don't have anybody to accompany me right now! As guruji has suggested let's start from the book and later try to create an online community of learners or something like that.
Namaskaram Anna, first of all superb video to make Samskritam accessible. Your usage of the word bho in that last sentence (“Ok bho, see you next weekend”) suggests bho can be used as a pronoun in place of bro/boss/mate/bhai. Is my understanding right?

Comes from the Sanskrit Ayu + Bhavantu = May you have a long life.
