Very good video. Thanks for posting. I would like to include one more bias that is typically left out called "design bias". This bias is where parts of the study do not fit together to answer the question of interest. The most common issue is non-comparable control groups. An example of this is comparing the effects of an anti-hypertensive drug in hypertensives versus normotensives. The solution: random assignment. Subjects assigned to treatment or control group by a random process.

@AB7522 I see your point.....but they are both non representative of the true population. In fact, sampling bias is one type of selection bias. I appreciate you giving me constructive criticism ...but cant agree on this one...

This is littered with mistakes. eg recall bias is not somebody can not recall information well. It's there is differential recall or memory of events between the study groups. For example, someone with a cold may be more likely to recall somebody sneezing on them than somebody without a cold.

+Matthew Curran AND JESUS CHRIST confounders are all about other factors which are related to both the exposure and outcome without being on the causal pathway between the two. often stuff like age, sex etc. They are IMPORTANT and adjusted for by random selection into groups so the counfounders are the same in each group.

Confounding is NOT bias, it can lead to bias
