    Awesome 👏 recipe!!!!
    Did a 13lb at 225* for 12 hours. Used sweet baby Ray’s honey mustard, Salt, pepper, and a little bit of Tony’s Chachere‘s.
    Best brisket I’ve had in my life.

    Great video
    I loved the vibe of the explanation, great to listen to. Very simple, straight forward and to the point. I also liked that you showed the entire process, raw to finished with some cooking in between. Definitely the plan for the next brisket i cook.

    Thanks for this video. It helped out alot for my first time cooking a brisket in the oven. I would highly recommend it for others to try out. The only thing I did different was sear my brisket first with the seasoning and then I added stubb's bbq cooking sauce before I put it in the oven and it was delicious.

      There are quite a few compound, “you know”. At the end of a sentence, then again at the beginning of next sentence. Pretty cool, you know?

    I started out in the oven. If you want melt in your mouth brisket but not a fan of the flavor profile associated with smoking, the oven is the way to go. I’ve never had any complaints about my oven briskets and I would recommend cooking some meats in your oven before investing in a smoker.

      @@daddybuck9466 it was average at best.. first time ever cooking it.. held a lot of flavor and was moist… but I think I cooked it an hour to long. Was a 6 pound brisket, did it low and slow for 8 hours… should’ve pulled at 6h30m-7h.. but will be trying again next weekend.

    Like a lil taco 😝 I’m doing a 3lb brisket rn the only thing different im doing this time is putting the water pan at the bottom I’ve never seen or heard of it before the last brisket I made I had a gas stove it came out SPECTACULAR! So yea it’s 6:24 I can’t wait to take it out

    Aluminum foil can help for moisture

      I use aluminum when I’m in a rush. If you have cooked them with or without foil you would know the difference. Try it out and let me know which one was better.
