Awesome 👏 recipe!!!! Did a 13lb at 225* for 12 hours. Used sweet baby Ray’s honey mustard, Salt, pepper, and a little bit of Tony’s Chachere‘s. Best brisket I’ve had in my life.
Thank you for making this simple and straight to the point. I haven't made a brisket in YEARS and couldn't remember what temperature I used. Thank you for this!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great video I loved the vibe of the explanation, great to listen to. Very simple, straight forward and to the point. I also liked that you showed the entire process, raw to finished with some cooking in between. Definitely the plan for the next brisket i cook.
Tried this recipe for a family gathering. Made 2 briskets and everyone loved them! Full of flavor so moist and tender! Highly recommend! Video is straight to the poiht and very relaxing to hear 😊 thank you!! #TrustTheProcess
Thanks for this video. It helped out alot for my first time cooking a brisket in the oven. I would highly recommend it for others to try out. The only thing I did different was sear my brisket first with the seasoning and then I added stubb's bbq cooking sauce before I put it in the oven and it was delicious.
As soon as I heard my home state of Texas I saved your video 😁 I was searching for a brisket recipe and your video popped up. I'll be using your recipe for today's brisket dinner. ☺️
im high as hell watching this and the fact that you said "ya know" after almost every sentence made me laugh my ass off the entire time great brisket nonetheless!!
I started out in the oven. If you want melt in your mouth brisket but not a fan of the flavor profile associated with smoking, the oven is the way to go. I’ve never had any complaints about my oven briskets and I would recommend cooking some meats in your oven before investing in a smoker.
Love the commentary on this video! "a little bend test. It's like a little taco." ❤ I'll be trying this recipe out this weekend! Thank you for the video!
Gonna try this recipe tonight. Will add garlic powder also and sit in the fridge overnight. Never cooked one before and was looking for a simple recipe. Thanks for the video.
@@daddybuck9466 it was average at best.. first time ever cooking it.. held a lot of flavor and was moist… but I think I cooked it an hour to long. Was a 6 pound brisket, did it low and slow for 8 hours… should’ve pulled at 6h30m-7h.. but will be trying again next weekend.
@@taylorc4484 it’s ok we have to gain experience. But it’s wonderful you did it. I cooked a 19 lb Saturday in over then finished it on smoker just for a little smoke flavor. 😊

There are quite a few compound, “you know”. At the end of a sentence, then again at the beginning of next sentence. Pretty cool, you know?
Damn! Thank you, I've been looking for a good oven recipe.

@@tangrockb531 because not everyone can afford a grill or smoker?? 🙄🙄

Thx brother, making this for sure
Wow I’m not gonna lie, from your prep I thought that gonna be dry as hell.. BUT that looks perfection my guy. Keep it up 👍

Fat on the top or bottom when put in the oven???
Up Tay-jas style. (texas style)
Fat always up
That can't be 5 pounds. It's gotta be bigger. Either way, nice vid. I did it at 225 but kept it in there for like 12 hours. I wasn't in a rush. Thanks
Remind me what cut of meat is that
Ya know brisket!!!
Good stuff but I say... set the temp on the oven as low as it can go, and cook low and slow. That’s even more TEXAS!
Yes, 350 was just to fast cook it.
Soooo for a 13lb brisket drop temp lower and cook longer… (?)
Was it tender?
Sorry..........it's only Texas style if it's smoked on a offset smoker. 💯💯
Y'know?
As your seasoning my mouth watering good sh*t
He sounds like Shaq lol
We know....we know.
Ya know
How big was the brisket how long and at what temperature
