26y old here. I presented with pain during intercourse and mild constipation. Had on and off pain for a year but thought it was IUD. Was turned back around at the doctor 3 times because they thought IUD was in the right position and told me it was impossible for me to have pain from it . They didn’t order ultrasound at that time nor did they do any pelvic exam. I didn’t go back for 8 months because I was basically told everything was fine and that I was crazy until IUD was taken out and pain persisted. I knew then it definitely wasn’t because IUD. Ultrasound was finally ordered. images showing 9.1cm thought to be serous cystadenoma with thin septation maybe small calcification no color on Doppler. ( so almost simple cyst?) aunt had boderline cystadenoma removed in the past no cancer. Treatment is watch and wait… I asked them if MRI would provide more info since it’s large they said no . I’m a bit surprised surgery is not on the table… should I ask for second opinion? I know I’m young I doubt it’s malignant but until it’s sent to pathology we cannot entirely rule it out. my mom had stomach and thyroid cancer my sister had adénocarcinoma of the lung at age 28 never smoked and her cancer grew on a part of a cyst. I’m just surprised that doctors are choosing to wait in my case since I’m experiencing symptoms and it’s 9.1cm please what do you think??? Radiologist that reviewed the ultrasound is osteopath… idk if he had a bias opinion lol. I’ve asked to see another doctor but they seem reluctant and I’m always being told by nurses to wait so here I am doing my own research…

What can I say? Feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I used what discussed the other day, well, it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish. I just go’ogled Tilly Strankten's Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
