  • A discussion on Green Hills of Africa by Ernest Hemingway.
the reading at the end of the video is a combined and abridged version of many of the separate hunts undertaking throughout the memoir/novel. The goal was to selectively combine these passages while retaining progression of events.

What an erudite review, Prof Gronskei! Disecting a book like this, I'll be here any time for any book. Hemingway so far hasn't resonated with me, but I'll give him another try. Thanks!!

Nice review dude. Now I am imagining Tom Petty hunting in Africa while signing "Running Down A Dream".

Love Hemingway but Green Hills is not my favourite. Fiesta, The Old Man and the Sea and the book of short stories, A moveable feast I have gone back to the most. Happy reading to you.

I haven't read Fiesta, yet. I'll have to check it out. I read Hemingway a lot when i was younger, but i'm enjoying him again now in my 40's
