he seems much more relaxed in this interview than most. And as a result, it seems, has more to say about the film business and his views than in most interviews (which often just recycle the same 4-5 stories).
Enjoyed this. Enjoy how passionate he is about peace and culture and loving your own culture - as well learning and loving others - in order to support and give back to as many as possible.
    Thanks for posting.

Itis fantastic! He has so much to give,he has such a wide knwoledge of things and yet he is sincere and genuine and strong. He is very stong and humble. I love when the hostess has serious questions to ask and we can tap into his knowledge more and se his personality more. Many hosts just ask the few questions that they all ask, it is boring. But intelligent interviewers ask deep questions and go beyond the usual lot. And that is when we get to know more. I have loved this. Jackie Chan is a man of deep thinking and feelings. I love the real person just as much as I love his films.

You can clearly see his emotions when he was talking about the problems in China of making fake engines and causing accidents killing innocent people. Real deep emotions there.

Yes ..I read a book about British ship-builders in the late 1700's making copper bolts that joined the planks of wood in the hull of a ship together , and because copper was valuable, they actually took out the middle part ..and left what looked like a bolt on one side and the other ..but wth nothing inbetween. And the same ships just simply fell apart in a storm.
What has changed in 200 years ..? Our attitude has not changed ...perhaps our perception should change.

The interview went so good until it went political.
Jackie Chan said, before 1997 during British rule most Hong Kong citizens didn't knew what their nationality was, they were not considered mainland chinese, but they were not considered British aswell, they were second rated citizens in their own place. After the handover in 1997, at least Hong Kong citizens could say they were chinese and belonged to a country. People underestimate that identity and belonging to a sovereign country is a very important thing, more important than democracy or freedom. People don't understand that unless you live in a colony yourself. Thats why Jackie Chan is so supportive of mainland China. Nothing controversial in wanting to be patriotic, you wouldn't say it is controversial about your own fellow people aswell.

TOKYO TANAKA: Diaoyu islands,or Senkaku island as you like, YES. But Phillipine, Vitnamese…where did you hear it from? Besides, I don't think he needs more money from the governement or from anyone for himself. And u would know y if you have really seen the interview.

I actually I love Jackie. However, his opinion in Hong Kong was totally different from this interview. He always praise on Mainland China and criticise Hong Kong and Taiwan. He insist some small islands around asia country like Senkaku island or Phillipine or Vitnamese are Chinese territory.I think that is so strange.Could be He received back money from Chinese government.

no because the chinese GOV have facts to prove the contested land actually belongs to them. Dont forget china has 4000 years of history.

China aswell as Jackie has facts to back the claims up. Some British guy ask Jackie once, was it better in Hong Kong before 1997 or after when it was given back to China? Jackie Chan said, before 1997 during British rule most Hong Kong citizens didn't knew what their nationality was, they were not considered mainland chinese, but they were not considered British aswell, they were second rated citizens in their own place. After the handover in 1997, at least Hong Kong citizens could say they were chinese and belonged to a country. Wtf does Korean film industry have to do with Jackie Chan. Seems like a inferiority complex of the Thai interviewer obsessing over Korea and comparing it to HK movies.
