What got me about the last one was how the Captain was shouting and berating the FO instead of taking the controls, as the most senior pilot present is supposed to.
The problem was the captain made an assumption that proved dangerous. He was getting repeated warnings of an issue with the rudder and following instructions on the computer to fix it. When it happened for the fifth time, instead of doing what the computer said again, he reset a circuit breaker. He had seen a ground engineer to this to fix the problem on ground, but in flight this reset several systems and turned off the autopilot. Because it was night, they didn’t realise the plane’s bank until it was severe and when they did the FO did two hard manoeuvres that unbalanced the plane further, leading to the crash.

On 1 June 2009, inconsistent airspeed indications led to the pilots inadvertently stalling the Airbus A330 serving the flight, failing to recover from it and eventually crashing into the Atlantic Ocean at 02:14 UTC, killing all 228 passengers and crew on board.
Crazy to know that Kenya Airways Flight 507 was only 3 1/2 miles away from the airport smh... Pilots be wildin sometimes, inclement weather can be dangerous, and equipment can be faulty but still, the safest way to travel.
I'm curious. How do they know exactly what happened to missing planes that just disappear from radar? They might have their last positions but still how can they have answers for most of these?
Thai 311 A number of frustrating and misleading communications (due partly to language problems and partly to the inexperience of the air traffic controller, who was a trainee with only nine months on the job) ensued between ATC and the pilots regarding Flight 311's altitude and distance from the airport. Seconds before impact, the ground proximity warning system (GPWS) activated, and sounded alarms warning the crew of the imminent collision with the mountains. First Officer Boonyayej warned Captain Suttimai and urged him to turn the aircraft around, but possibly due to his frustration from the communications with ATC, Suttimai erroneously stated the GPWS was just giving false reports.

The cockpit recordings and the flight data from the black box, which they recover after finding the wreckage
The "black box"
Research on the plane, studying the wreckage, looking at past incidents, plus the blackbox and cockpit voice recorder.
They calculate the coordinates of where the aircraft went, then they find it.
